𝗇𝖾𝗐 𝗌𝗍𝗎𝖽𝖾𝗇𝗍

Y/n breathed heavily as she hit the punching bag. Sam scrolled through the messages she had sent Aisha. Aisha made it clear she was done with sam after what she pulled at the beach club.

Daniel and Robby stepped out of the small building "Mr.Miyagi didn't recruit me, he wasn't looking for any students. He took me in because I needed him. I came to him not the other way around. It's time we be patient. Let those who need us, find us" Daniel finished.

Y/n had stopped hitting the white punching bag. "Right?" Daniel asked all three kids. They nodded their heads.

Like something or someone had been listening to Daniels pleads for new students, Demetri walked in.
"Excuse me. Uh, it was unclear if the gate was the front door or if I was supposed to ring the doorbell."

Daniel and his students turned their heads to the dark-haired boy. Y/n had a small smile on her face. "Is that a koi pond? How much does it cost to maintain that?" Demetri asked getting off track. "Can I help you?" Daniel furrowed his eyebrows.

"Uh...yeah.I wanna learn karate" Demetri informed.
Daniel's face turned bright with a smile on his face "you have come to the right place!" Demetri smiled and looked between the four different faces. They wore smiles just like him.

In the upcoming days, Demetri would have to go through basic training.

"The whole fence?" Demetri's mouth gaped open he looked over at Daniel. "That's like twelve hundred square feet" Demetri whined. "Yeah but times it by two. You're forgetting the other side" y/n said as she handed him a brush.

Demetri exhaled "O-okay I get it you're teaching me muscle memory. Do it a bunch of times. Develop unconscious karate techniques...how about we just cut to the chase and you show me the moves?" Demetri placed his hand on Daniel's shoulder moving the brush towards him. Daniel shook his head and patted him on the back "Y/n help him out" He said before leaving.

"I guess I'll be your sensei for the day," Y/n said. "Alright. Show me how you'd normally paint a fence" Y/n ordered. "Well I don't usually paint fences-" Demetri began "you know what I mean dingus" Y/n rolled her eyes. Demetri faced the fence and demonstrated how'd he'd paint. "Okay, you've got the basics of the movement. Now I'll just need to.." y/n stood behind Demetri. She held Demetri's hand and moved their hands.

"You really got to put the movement into it," Y/n said. Demetri's neck and face grew pink, he could feel Y/n's warm breath on his neck. "Alright show me" Y/n stepped to the side. "Why is your face pink?" Y/n let out a small laugh. "I-it's hot!" Demetri stuttered

Daniel's arms flowed smoothly as they moved. Demetrio watched him trying to keep up. Y/n had shown him the moves and after a while, he thought he got the hang of it. Until he was beside Daniel, a total karate master as Demetri would like to describe him.

"I'm not exactly the most flexible," Demetri said causing Daniel to come to a halt. "That...and I have trouble maintaining balance. Hope that's not an issue. Disproportionate limbs" Demetri said moving his arms that seemed almost to move like a rag doll.

Daniel watched him.
'He's gonna be a tough one..'

"That's it, side to side," Daniel said. Demetri was painting moving his hands like Daniel had instructed him to. Daniel was being to feel he was making some success with the boy. Demetri was getting tired of moving his hand "Can't I just use a roller?" Demetri looked down at Daniel as he stood on the ladder.
Daniel let out a small sigh
'Maybe not'

"Left circle, right circle" Daniel repeated.
Y/n sat on the deck in front of the one Daniel and Demetri were at. Out of now where Demetri yelps. "Ah!" Daniel bent down "what? What is it?" "Splinter...ooo it's a big one" Demetri examined his finger. Y/n couldn't help but laugh as Daniel rolled his eyes.

Daniel, Demetri, and Y/n all paid attention to their breathing as they moved their hands in sync. Demetri hadn't complained yet, y/n was beginning to think they had finally found something to shut him up.

Though the thought was short-lived as Demetri distributed the quietness. "How much longer are we doing this?" Daniel and Y/n both opened their eyes and turned their attention to Demetri "my arms are getting tired and I've had to pee ever since before we started" Demetri complained.

Daniel sighed "you know what guys? Class is dismissed we've done enough work" Daniel walked away. "Finally" Demetri sighed happily. Y/n rolled her eyes at him.

Sam, Daniel, and Robby left. Y/n was getting ready to leave "hey do you need a ride home?" Y/n asked grabbing her backpack. "Oh yeah, please," Demetri said with a tiny smile. "Okay, let me just send my dad a message real quick" Y/n pulled out her phone and sent her dad a message.

"Cool. Let's get go" Y/n said putting her phone in her pocket. The two walked over to Y/n's car and got in. Y/n in the driver's seat and Demetri in the passenger seat. Y/n started the car and drove off.

"You know you did good your first few days. You could maybe keep the whining to a minimum but you did good" Y/n said glancing at Demetri from time to time. "You think so? I feel like I'm getting nowhere" Demetri responded. "Come on, don't be discouraged" Y/n replied.
'God I sound like my dad' she thought.

The car came to a stop as they reached Demetri's house.
"Thanks, I'll see you tomorrow" Demetri turned to Y/n.
"Alright" Y/n replied. The two shared a quick kiss before Demetri pulled away "you know it's kinda weird being together but not telling your dad"

Y/n sighed "I know...we'll tell him soon. I promise"
Demetri nodded. Y/n kissed his cheek before Demetri got out of her car.

Demetri headed to his room and laid down on his bed. He would be lying if said the past few days of training weren't tiring him out. He hadn't done so much 'physical activities' so consistently.

This chapter is definitely a short one but I hope it was decent enough 😅
Next chapter or two will be more eventful ;)
