A few months have passed and Jisung and I have finally managed to move in together. Right now we're still in the middle of unpacking our stuff or well we would be if Jisung didn't let one of the boxes fall onto his foot. Luckily I had already put some cooling packs in the fridge. I walked up to him as he already sat down on the couch. "It's gonna be cold" I said as I put it on his foot.
"You gotta be more careful, babe" he could clearly tell I was worried when I looked up at him. Jisung nodded his head "I know.. I'm sorry hyung. I'm gonna be more careful from now on, I promise." After making sure the cooling pack wouldn't fall down I sat next to him and put my arm around his shoulders to pull him closer "How about we take a break anyways... we've been unpacking all day. We should go out and eat something, yeah?" Jisung was quick to nod.
What Jisung didn't know at that time, this wasn't just going to be a dinner. I actually planned this for such a long time and I'm so glad I got to ask this so casually. "Great then let's get dressed and go" with that being said I got up and helped Jisung as well.
About half an hour later we were already sitting in our favorite restaurant. It was quite small, we only discovered it three months ago but ever since we went here at least once a week. Because of that the owners also know us by now and I also got to ask one of them to help me prepare for today.
We didn't need to look at the menu since we already knew exactly what we wanted. As soon as we ordered the food I started to get nervous but I tried my best to play it cool. Everything was very casual while we were eating but when we got the desserts, the waiter placed a small gift box in front of Jisung. He was visibly confused and wanted to ask the waiter why he got it but the waiter was already gone again.
"It's okay, Sungie. Maybe they just wanted to give us a nice surprise for being loyal customers." "Huh? Oh yes that's possible!" he smiled brightly. My heart started racing as soon as he opened the box, there was no going back now. "What.." I heard Jisung mumble as he saw the smaller velvety box inside. "Open it" I told him with a soft smile on my lips.
He carefully opened the box and his eyes widened as soon as he saw the ring inside. I got up from the chair and got down on one knee right in front of him. I took his hand and looked up at his face "Baby you know I'm not the best at words but I love you. I love you more than anyone could ever imagine. Everyday I wake up next to you, I know that it's gonna be a great day because it's another day with you being by my side and I don't want this to ever change. I really want to spend the rest of my life with you but I don't want you as my boyfriend, I want you as my husband. Han Jisung, will you marry me?"
Jisung didn't answer at first as he just hugged me while crying but in between his sobs I was able to hear a yes. He slowly pulled away again "Yes Minho, yes. Yes yes yes, I want to marry you!" I smiled at him as I felt my eyes getting teary but this didn't stop me from putting the ring on his hand. After taking another look at his face I leaned in for a long and soft kiss.
I just knew everything was going to be alright from now on and even if it wasn't, at least I knew I'd always have Jisung by my side and that's all I need to be happy.
