Davina's POV
I swear nothing is better than Heist. The adrenaline that runs through your veins as you make every precise move. The skill it takes to hack into the surveillance cameras and alarms. You never wanna cut the alarms off instead I prefer to freeze them so it looks as if everything is perfectly normal. The patience of siting and waiting for the perfect moment. Sometimes you wait for days or even months. The timing it takes to plan perfectly every precise move. Most important the feeling of invincibility you get when you don't get caught.
Jaden and I started off small. We hit a small stores and worked our way up. Jaden was a natural but he's no fantome that's for sure. Jaden and I started to get close. Something about him made me feel alive, invincible!
Our first mission was a little jewelry Store on Bakers Street. We cased the place for 2 days and on day 3 we went in. We got a huge emerald ring that Jaden picked out. We were in and out in less than a minute and we left not trace. This was too easy. We didn't have to run from the cops which is always a plus.
We worked together for months all of our work leading up to this one moment. Jaden and I was about to rip off one of the biggest museums in London, The National Maritime Museums. Jaden had been eyeing a old Compass which is an heirloom of the Knight family. From my understanding it was lost during the world war 2. I'm not sure how Jaden knew it was a family heirloom but I've learned one thing from working with Jaden; he gets what he wants. No matter what. After 3 months of watching one of the biggest museums in History the night was finally upon us.
Jaden and I dressed in all black. I worn a black hoodie and black sweatpants with my hair braided back. I worn a day of the dead mask that covers my face with my black converse. Jaden outfit was identical except for the braids.
Jaden and I planned our every move very carefully. I hacked the cameras freezing them in time. I used a signal jammer to freeze the security footage. Jamming the frequency gave us approximately 5 mins to get in and out. I learned the security code by watching the night guard and Jaden was able to use the code to deactivate the alarms and motion detector.
Once we entered there was hundreds of priceless artifacts everything from small compasses to huge boats. There was statues of peoples such as old marines. Everything you could possible think of.
Jaden and I was inside for only 4 1/2 minutes. We used a can of air to freeze the lock. Soon we heard a snap and the case was ready to be open. The precious compass was just waiting for us. We grabbed the compass and headed out the back door just in time.
The alarms started going off as we were walking to the lot 2 blocks over where we stashed the car.
As the alarm started blaring we took off running."What the fuck happened?" Jaden yelled at me as we ran to the black out car that was waiting on us.
"I don't know," I snapped back. It's not like I know the precise time that the system would stay out I told you about 5 minutes.
"Key word about," I shouted back at him.We quickly took our hoodies, sweatpants, and mask off stashing them in the trunk of the car. I quickly jumped in the passenger seat as Jaden jumped in the driver seat starting the vehicle up.
I smiled as Jaden pulled out the vacant lot. We actually did it I thought to myself.
