Falling for Mr. Knight

Part 16

Davina's POV

It took about 2 weeks before my body was healed enough where I could tend to my normal day to day activities. While I was Injured Jaden's maid Emma took care of me. Emma and I became good friends and even started training together. 
Emma was beautiful. She had beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes. She stood about 5'5 and was about 21 years old. From what she has told me her father was Jaden's Father (Jason)right hand man. They died fighting side by side after being ambushed by a rival gang when Emma was 15 years old. Emma had nobody so the boys took her in and protected her. She tends to the house and cooking as a way to Thank them.

Tension between Jaden and I also grew strong over the last month. The Knight brothers was normally always gone during the day but made sure they always have plenty of Men watching over the house and was home in time for Dinner

It was Sunday, Jaden and I just got done training. I quickly ran up to my room to shower before Dinner. I looked over my body in the mirror. I studied the fresh scars that was made the month previous. I hated them. I hated him. I thought to myself. I jumped into the shower and quickly washed away all my sweat from todays hard work. I started to day dream about me and Jaden in the ring together, today. The tension between us as we bounce around and throw punch after punch toward each other. It was a good match but Jaden had me. I always get so out of breath when boxing him. I quickly snapped out of my daze and hurried out the shower. I threw on a cute black crop top with my black high waisted jeans. I slide on my black booties and went to the mirror to fix my hair when gunshots erupted. I quickly put my hair into a ponytail and grabbed my Glock 17 out my nightstand drawer.

I entered out of my bedroom and was meet by a unknown man in the hallway. When he saw me his eyes lit up.
"Oh are we going to have some fun," he smirked at me.
Before I knew it I put the pistol to his head and pulled the trigger. Blood splattered onto the wall as the shot ringed through out the house. I just killed a man. I stood frozen as Leo ran up to me. "Davina!!"
"Are you okay?"
"Come with me,"
I didn't respond I just followed him through the hallway and down the back stair case. We meet up with Blaze, Emma, and Jaden who was all in the kitchen picking off intruders one by one.

"Thank goodness your okay," Emma said pulling me into a hug.

I looked over at Jaden who didn't speak. Something was different about him. His eyes were cold as he aimed and shot. He was in his own element.

Suddenly the shooting stopped. Jaden stepped out as an unarmed man lowered his weapon.
The man was slightly handsome. He had brown curly hair and was slightly taller than Jaden. 20ish of Jaden's Men stood with there guns pointed towards the unknown man.

"Where is she?" The unknown handsome man called out.
"Who are you talking about?" Jaden replied as he lowered his gun.
"Davina! I know you have her." My heart dropped. Why does this man want me?
"Why do you want her," Jaden replied with a furious look in his eyes.
"She's mine, her father used her to pay off his debt." The mysterious man replied.
"I will get her one way or another," He spoke signing his death wish.
"I would like to see you try," Jaden spatted out. The man didn't even have time to reach as Jaden lifted his gun shooting one bullet straight between the eyes.

My legs started to shake the minute the man said I belong to him.  I sat down at the kitchen table. This couldn't be happening. Did my dad really sell me to this Man. I think I'm going to be sick as I ran to the kitchen sink as all my breakfast came up. I heard gunshots then Jaden quickly blurted out orders for the men to clear up this mess.
I stood frozen by the sink, in shock.

Jaden joined us in the kitchen and everyone was starring at me not speaking.
"I should've killed him when I had the chance," Jaden said angrily tucking his gun in the back lining of his pants.
"I wish you would've," I blurted out quietly. Everyone looked at me raising an eye brown. Before they could question me I spoke "I'm going to be the one to end him." I quickly exited the room before they could see the tears fall.

I walked up stairs looking at myself in the mirror. "I'm going to kill him if it's the last thing I do," I said to myself as tears fell down my cheek.

Suddenly there was a knock on my door. I quickly wiped away the tears as I yelled come in.

Jaden entered the room. "We all are going out to eat since our dinner was ruined, you want to come?"
"Yeah," I spoke softly.
"Be ready in 30 Minutes," Jaden said exiting my room.

I quickly went to the bathroom and jumped in the shower. I scrubbed my body with soap until my skin started to turn red. I slowly washed my hair as the events from earlier took place in my head. Once I was done I exited the shower and stared at myself in the mirror. I styled my hair in a half up, half down messy bun. It actually looks cute I thought to myself. I went to my closet and put on a red skin tight dress with a slit up the side and my black heels.
I sat down at my vanity and applied a thin layer of makeup and headed down stairs.

I was greeted by Jaden who was wearing a black suit. He was staring at me until Blaze nudge him.
"Wow, you look incredible." Jaden spoke making me blush.
"Thank you I spoke softly.

"He's right you look amazing," Emma said pulling me into a much needed hug.

"Shall we go," Blaze said opening the door?

"Leo not coming," I questioned.

"No he's going to stay back and take care of this mess," Jaden spoke.

I didn't speak I just exited the house as Jaden followed me.
