Davina's POV
Dinner was amazing we went to a little small Italian restaurant in the middle of town. My food was delicious I ordered shrimp fettuccine and it was the best thing I've ever ate.
Jaden was like a totally different man at Dinner. He was so sweet and looked at me like he actually cared. I honestly don't understand this man. He was joking around with Blaze the entire time and when he wasn't I would catch him gazing at me.
Emma and me carried on small talk but mainly listen to Jaden and Blaze tell us stories from there childhood. Blaze would tell an embarrassing story about Jaden then of course Jaden would have to top it. This went on for almost 2 hours and me and Emma just sat back. It's so nice to see them so relaxed especially given the events that just happened hours prior. The car ride home was quiet. I stared out the window and watched as all the big builds disappeared into the night sky as we passed. I could feel Jaden eyes on me but I didn't mind.
Once we got home Jaden took Leo some food that he had brought him from the restaurant as the rest of us went to our rooms.
When I entered my room I took my heels off quickly and threw then into the closet. One shoe went left and the other barely made it in but I didn't care. I was exhausted. I walked into the bathroom and looked into the mirror. You are worthy I whispered to myself while watching the mirror. I slowly took my ponytail out so all my hair was now down running freely. "Why doesn't he love me," I asked myself.
Honestly I've asked myself this a lot over the past 10 years. Believe it or not we was once a happy family. When I was 8 years old my mother left us in the middle of the night. It torn my Father apart and he's been an asshole every since. I grabbed my makeup wipes and quickly wiped my whole face clean before any tears could fall. I washed over my face with cold water then patted it dry with a washcloth. I heard a knock on my bedroom door and before I answer Jaden walked it. His jacket from earlier was missing. If I had to guess he was changing but then came to see me instead.
