Part 26

Jaden's POV

My heart dropped my the Doc told me Davina needed a hospital. They really did a number on her and I swear to God if she dies I will torch that son of a bitch everyday for the rest of his life.

I helped the doctor and loaded her up in his car to take her to his private clinic. I followed his orders only because I knew it was what was needed to save her and that was the only thing on my agenda at the moment.

Doc told me to call his nurses Britney and Ciera so I did just that.

Ciera I thought to myself as I called the number. Surely this can't be Hayes sister. The moment she answered the phone I knew it was her. I pretended I didn't know who she was and I'm guessing she didn't recognize my voice. She quickly muttered out "yes sir," before ending the call.

I drove as fast as the Doc car would allow me and was able to get us there in 15 minutes instead of the normal 30 minutes.

The moment we walked through the door Ciera's eyes light up. She finally put pieced together that it was me who called her and her eyes looked terrified. She didn't say anything to me she just quickly started working on Davina's.

Ciera and Brittney quickly started hooking her up to monitor. They hooked her to to heart monitors, oxygen and several other things.

"Do you know her blood type?" Ciera asked.

"Umm no I don't," I replied back fastest.

"Can you and Britney run down to the basement and get as much O+ blood as possible." She asked but demanded at the same time.

I followed Britney as we ran down to the basement. We grabbed as much blood as we could carry and quickly ran back up stairs.

The Doc and Ciera was in the room doing scans I'm guessing to check for internal bleeding.

I stopped in the Doorway as the Doctor waved the wand over her belly.
"Thump, Thump, Thump. Was all you could hear as a little alien popped up on the monitor.

"You didn't tell me she was pregnant," the Doc shouted at me through the closed door.

"I didn't know," I replied in shock.

"She's about 7 weeks pregnant that's if the baby survives."

His words ring through my ears as I though back to us having sex.

She's pregnant. Is it mine?

"She has internal bleeding we need to take her to surgery please wait in here and we will bring her back when we finish," the Doc rushed out the room wheeling her away.

I stayed in the room at war with my own thoughts. How could she not tell me she was pregnant? Will the baby even survive the surgery? Will her body be able to support a baby? I eventually slipped into a sleep since I've been up for two days straight.

Once I found out where they were holding Davina I wasn't able to sleep. All I could think about what going to save her. Never in a million years did I expect them to do this to her. I swear once I get my hands on Igor I'm going to make him pay.

Leo sent over the confirmation earlier. We ended up with 15 prisoners Igor being one of them and he was able to recover some of Davina's mothers pictures and jewelry. He even found Davina's bag in the office. They recovered hundreds of documents and all of there orders and shipment documents. We have everything we need to be about to infiltrate and Shut down there business. I also ordered Judson to recover Davina's mother so she could have a proper goodbye with her. Maybe one not so gruesome.

"Jaden," the Doc said making me jump to my feet.

"Yes Doc? How is she?" I asked as concern shown in my voice as I quickly masked it.

"She did good in surgery. The internal bleeding wasn't as severe as it looked but it's a good thing we caught it in time. The baby pulled through surgery but unfortunately they aren't out the the woods yet. The first few days are going to be crucial for them. They are going to need plenty of rest, fluids and food." The Doc replied as the nurses wheeled her into the room.

"When will she wake up," I asked?

"Only time can tell," he said leaving the room as the nurses followed.

"I'll be around every 30 minutes to check on her." "If that's okay with you," the nurse Britney said.

"Yes," I said grabbing her arm.

"You will be well compensated but if she dies, you died too ," I threatened her.

"Yes sir," she stuttered out as she left they quietly.

I pulled out my phone and called Emma. I told Emma to get Jai to bring her to the hospital so she can sit with Davina's. She didn't object after all she was eager to help.

I walked over to the bed giving Davina a Kiss on the head.

"I'll be back my love. I promised I would make him pay and I'm going to do just that." I whispered to her.

Emma walked in the room and ran to her side. She pulled up a chair and started talking to her as if she was still awake. I gave Emma a small smile and told her to call me when she wake up.

Emma smiled back. "Go make that son of a bitch pay for what he did." She spoke with tears in her eyes.

I exited the room to do just that.
