MANDY’S POV
I was headed for the trauma area after receiving a call from one of Gigi’s friends when I heard her yelling. No surprise there, I mean she is a good person but don’t tick her off the wrong way else she’ll destroy you without blinking even once.
On getting to the reception, I wasn’t surprised on who got her mad, that receptionist is an absolute headache, doesn’t care about a thing, which surprises me, how the heck did she get a job in a hospital, especially this one and now she just made the boss hate her. Well, I think that creepy HR guy hired her, no surprise there 🙄
“I opened a hospital to have people get help as fast as possible, and got the best of best, Mandy, by the time I’m done delivering, that woman at the reception should be gone and blacklisted from my hospitals. Now, let’s get my babies.”
She tells me once we are out of earshot You see, everyone else think I own these hospitals and branches because I’m pretty much in charge of it but what they do not know won’t hurt them. Firing that receptionist won’t be a problem considering all I have to do is give the order cause I’m the “boss”
We take her to the delivery room after which she sends her best friends out.
“Gigi, take deep breaths and prepare to push when I tell you too, you are at 8cm so it won’t be long”
“ok” she takes deep breaths as instructed whilst lying on her back 30 minutes of agonizing cries and deep breaths later,
“you’re fully dilated now, on the count of three, push. One… two… three… push” “aaaaaaaaah, this so hard” she cries out in pain and exhaustion
“it will all be worth it when you hold them, come on sweetie, the first one is crowning. Take a deep breath then give me one hard push”
She does the exercise and cries out as she delivers her first baby, I take him to her after wrapping him in a blanket
“hush my love, mommy’s right here. Raynold Black”
I put his wrist band on, born at 10:50 pm then hand him to be cleaned “the second one is crowning. You need to push”
She does one hefty push and the baby is out, I hand him over
“hey little knight, so cute. Ryder Black”
She hands him over to be cleaned while doing the breathing exercise.
Ryder born at 10:52 10 minutes later she is pushing out her first daughter, Chaya Black followed by Cherish Black who are also two minutes apart but 10 minutes from the boys born at 11:01 and 11;04 respectively I hand them over to get cleaned.
Gigi is too exhausted to be awake when I usher her friends in. It doesn’t take long before she passes out from exhaustion so I excuse myself. Before I reach my office I’m paged back to Gigi’s room
“doc, she’s losing too much blood” says the nurse, while ushering Ryan and Lilly out. Takes an hour to finally stabilize her and call in her friends to see her,
“although she’s completely out, she’ll be up in a few hours, hopefully without further complication. I can only determine the extent once she’s up”
I tell them before they ask any questions. I get nurses to bring in the children to be fed and placed next to their mother so that once she’s up they would be the first thing she sees the walk out.
GIGI POV
I try to open my eyes but it a little harder than anticipated. My head feels weird and my body even worse, like I got hit by a truck.
I slowly open my eyes to the bright hospital lights and groan out loud. People rush to my side and I look at them, it’s a lady and a guy with bags around their eyes, the crying kind.
“don’t you dare scare us like that woman, ever.”
They both say with tears in their eyes
“I’m sorry, do I know you?” I ask with a groggy voice
