Encanto

me and my mom are in a wagon, with multiple of our stuff, sold our house to go to encanto
"Mama.. are we close..?" i ask with my eyes closed as i just woke up.
"Si, Mija get up we'll be there in about an hour" she said swatting away some bugs
i slowly sit up and start to rub my eyes
"ma, any food?" i ask, still rubbing one eye
"Yup here" she passed me an apple i almost immediately took a bite out of it, after finishing the apple i throw it ans start to look around to see where we are.
in the distance i see a village, one house filled with bright colors
one part was covered in flowers, the other parts, just seemed normal.
its got to be encanto right?
why else would it have a humongous house thats full of color!
i gleed with joy, were we fainally be able to find out about my powers?? will this answer our questions?

Arrival
----------------
me and my mom got off, i helped her get some stuff out
as soon as we walked into the town Encanto we had eyes all on us.
"Lusia!" someone called
"we need a new house!" they called again, seeing that weve arrived
"oh um- we dont exactly know how long were staying- until our questions get answered." i mention to the towns person
"Ah, but we still need a home for ya!" he said, shaking my hand
i smile
"O- Okay!" people here were so nice
"who is that..?" i hear a little girl wisper, i turn around to see a young girl hiding behind anther child
"Well hello there little one!" i say, crouching down towards her, smiling
as i got closer she went farther back
"you two wanna see a trick?" i ask the two kids, they slightly nodded
"you see me.."
"Now you dont!" i say making myself invisible
it made the kids stand there in awe
as i turn my self visible i look around to people wispering around, shocked almost
Werent they used to this type of stuff? is this not Encanto?
a strong woman comes up to me "you, have a gift?" she asked
"Well,. um kind of" i say rubbing my neck
"Y/n L/n" i say getting up, putting out my hand and she shakes it
"Luisa Madrigal" she smiles
"M- Madrigal?" i mutter
"You're... You're a Madrigal?" i say, looking up at her
"mhm!" she said, giving me a thumbs up
"i- i came here to find The madrigals well, Your family!" i exclaimed
"i need help." i say, i had a focused look, looking up towards her
"With what?" she asked
"My powers"
"i heard your family was magical, so, i- thats why i came here to find out about my powers more! i dont have any magical history-" i started rambling, pacing around
"Whoa whoa whoa, slow down Y/n," she grabbed my shoulder "lets get you settled in first, get a good nights rest then tomorrow we can figure everything out" she said
