chapter 5

i ran over to him and hugged him turning visible again, not wanting to let go

"whoa there Y/n, what happened?" he asked, me still not letting go and sobbing into his chest
"did..didnt dolores tell you.." i said still muffled into him

"no, she only said something was wrong and i should go to the river" he said hugging me back
"lets go sit Y/n, then you can tell me everything okay?" he said
i nodded letting go

we went to sit down, there was two to five rocks we could sit on we chose the closest together
"i, i got home and i got some..news" i said, trying not to start crying again, not infront of camilo.

"what was the news that was so bad?" he asked looking directly at me, while i couldnt make eyecontact, i felt as if i did i would cry more.

"my dads going to live with us. he left us over 6 years ago.. and- and my mom is pretending that everythings fine?!" i snapped, more tears starting to flood

it was a mix of madness and being sad.
"he never cared about us! he never did! he didnt even bother to say goodbye.." i say, pulling up my legs to put my head in between

"hey look at me" camilo said, putting his hand on my shoulder

i looked up at him, still having tears in my eyes, i felt pathetic.

"im sure you dad will love you, im sure he realized he made a mistake of leaving you and your mom,"he reassured me "how about you sleep in my room tonight?" camilo askes

i smile and nodded
"that'll definitely make me feel better" i replied, voice still shaky, it was shaky this inter conversation

"alright then," he said wiping away my tears "lets go"

once we got to the madrigals casita opened up the doors for us

i heard a squeak
it was dolores. what did she do??

a storm cloud..
"Camilo Madrigal! how could you just walk out of the house like that with out telling me?!" she yelled, dolores covering her ears scurrying off

"Y/n! dear i heard everything from dolores, stay as long as you want dear" she said smiling with a rain cloud
"You are lucky Y/n is sleeping in your room tonight!" pepa scolded camilo

"Pepa! please- dont get mad at him, i wouldnt have come for the night if he didnt come at all" i explained to pepa

she took a deep breath, cloud not going away

"clear skies, clear skies" she repeated
"Okay, but if that happens agai-"

"hes normally with me pepa, you have nothing to worry about" i smiled at pepa
"Alright" pepa smiled, walking off

thank god she liked me other wise camilo would have been in trouble.
"alright rápida your room before anyone else comes up" i fastly went up the stairs camilo behind me

quickly opening the door, camilo going in and closing the door behind me

after i went and sat on camilos bed, really tired.
"you can sleep on my bed, you'll need a good nights rest" camlio said, leaning on his wall
