Chapter 9

"And whats that occasion?" once i said that he grabbed my hand i turned towards him in confusion and he grabbed the other hand.

he took a deep breath
"Y/n, i like you- no no no" he shook his head quickly
"i love you was the word i was looking for" he said looking me in the eyes

i was heating up, alot. it seemed that camilo was too as his face grew red

camilo paused, i was speachless. i didnt actually expect him to do it! my stomach was running laps, my brain felt all fuzzy, but a good fuzzy

"Will you go out with me?" camilo blurted out, not making eyecontact.

i took a second to put myself back together, once i did i pulled camilo into a hug, i was smiling like an idiot
"yeah" i said as i hugged him tighter, my face was really burned up at this point but i didn't care

i heard camilo do a sigh of joy and relief then he hugged me back

i wanted to stop time, yet again. but this time forever i wanted to be with him forever. just, forever

"Camilo! where is that boy-" i heard pepa say we quickly let go of each other
she cane into the river
"There you are camilo! dont you know you have town work today?" she scolded camilo, starting to thunder

"i- uh! mamá! hey.." camilo said awkwardly, my face was still heated camilos was too.
"You get back to town and start doing your work!" she sterinly yelled at camilo

"Sorry mamá! i just, really needed to talk to Y/n about somthing" camilo tried to save himself from his mom
"Well the something better have been good!" she yelled bolting a lighting "Now you two get to your town work" she said after taking a deep breath

she mumbled off saying her clear skies method
once she got out of sight me and camilo released our breath of relief, we let out a laugh

"okay Lets go before she comes back" i smiled, my face was still heated, it just couldnt cool down.

camilo grabbed my hand
"Alright hermosa" he smiled, his face glew with a shade of red, but he was genuinely happy

i looked at our hands, my stomach felt as if it had a million butterflies. my face heated up more as i looked at it

i looked back up at him and softly smiled and intertwining our fingers
we walked out of the trees that were hiding the special river that we came to.
and only us

camilo let go of my hand when we got into town, i was confused
did he not want people knowing yet?

jeez, so far only dolores knew and she would tell everyone as soon as she could.
once we got into town i heard my name get called to help with something

"Right away!" i called running towards the towns person, once i finsihed someone bumped into me

"oh! sorry- Y/n! i was just looking for you!" mirabel said
"What is it?" i asked

"Its about.." she said glancing around and started wispering
"the magic" 
"right. did luisa find anything?" i asked

"Yes! she said to look for the vision a brunos tower, but she said.. 'be careful'? it was weird but lets go!" she said grabbing my wrist

jeez, why did i keep getting dragged around?? i thought to myself, it definitely was werid

we got to casita, we hid from abuela and isabela and quickly went into brunos tower

we walked in and saw a hour glass shape with falling sand
i looked at the sand in confusion.

"what is this about?" i asked
mirabel went to touch the falling sand
