"What is going on?!" alma yelled.
i quickly backed away, soon behind camilo "Abuela! its okay- everythings- Were gonna save the miracle! the magic!" mirabel enthusiastically said as alma looked at how casita looked
"What are you talking about? look at our home! look at you sister!" she said "please just- Isabela wasn't happy and-" mirabel said to her abuela "Ofcourse she isn't happy! you ruined her proposal!"
"no no no-" mirabel said fastly "she needed me to ruin her proposal and we did all of this! and the candle burned brighter- And the cracks! thats why im in the vision! im saving the miracle!" mirabel told her abuela "You have to stop mirabel!" she sterinly yelled at her "the cracks started with you."
"bruno left, because of you. Luisas losing her powers, isabelas out of control because of you!" she scolded "I dont know why you werent given a gift but it is not an excuse to hurt this family!" i wanted to burst at her.
i dont care about this be nice to your elders crap she has to stop putting the blame on mirabel! i thought to myself in anger, camilo noticed and grabbed my hand so i took a deep breath "i will, never be good enough for you. will I?" mirabel said. tears starting to form "No matter how hard i try." she said and had a look at her family members "No matter how hard any of us tries, Luisa will never be strong enough. Isabela wont be perfect enough, bruno left our family because you only saw the worst in him-" "Bruno didnt care about this family" she cut off mirabel "he loves this family, I love this family. We all love this family, You're the one who doesnt care" dolores joined us
"The cracks" i wispered and tightend my held on camilos hand and so did he "You're the one breaking our home!" Mirabel said "Dont you ever!-" alma yelled "The miracle is dying because of you!" mirabel said, pausing then a huge crack cracked in between the two
"No no!" pepa called, the house was breaking. "The candle!" felix said, the cracks were aiming for the candle i felt myself grin. i immediately covered my mouth with both hands, it felt like and earthquake was happening but just in the house. mirabel soon ran off to go and get the candle "Casita! get me up there!" mirabel called. soon camilo ran off and isabela
i ran out of the house
they can't see me like this they can't! i thought to myself running into the woods i found a big wide tree to hide behind if someone tried to find me then
i heard it
casita falling. i could hear it all from the woods i couldnt control myself i started laughing loudly
i heard someone coming towards me i clasped my mouth shut, trying to gain control of myself "its starting?" it was bruno "Bruno!" i said. i started tearing up
"wh- why are you out here??" he asked "I- i cant let them see me like this" i said wiping away tears he stayed with me for a few minutes then we heard people yelling "Mirabel? Mirabel!" the madrigals called
Soon i heard bushes scratching against each other, someone heavily breathing
"No no no- huh-?" it was camilo. i quickly turned invisible
"Bruno?" he asked, clearly out of breath after realizing i was gone, bruno had his hand on my shoulder, he quickly looked between me and camilo
eventually camilo walked up to bruno, as he did
i ran
I got next to a nearby bush, watching
by then bruno had already taken his hand away from where my shoulder was.
Camilo looked at the empty space, after a bit he sighed knowing i wasnt there anymore
"where did she go now??" he mumbled, obviously worried.
i felt bad, i couldnt stay in the encanto any longer could i? if im bad for la casa madrigal.. then i should leave
i didnt care that the bush was ruslting i needed to leave
Camilo was dissapointed and confused, i wanted to rethink what i was about to do but.
i turned visible again
"Camilo," I said, my voice shaky and went up to him
he immediately hugged me, i had to stop myself from crying, i hugged him back
"Im sorry for what im about to do. its for the best camilo" I said, giving him a quick kiss then ran off turning invisible again
i went home, packed my things and left
Who knew when i would be back? would i ever come back to the encanto?
the thoughts were rushing through my head
there was a next town over and i decided to make home there, i would come back on my own time, but hows my mom going to be?.
