For the first time, I had really fear. Fear of seeing something, that I'll maybe regret. Regret to have seen. And the hardest thing is, that you have no choice. You'll see it, if you want or not. I was standing for like 5 minutes in front of the door, but didn't open it. I knew I had to go in, but I just can't. I just can't open this door. What if.. Haley, don't even think about it. Just open the door..

'Haley, I know it's hard for you.. But you have to see the truth.'

What? Which truth? What is Sam talking about.

'Sam I just-'

'I'll open the door for you.'

He opened the door slowly. A doctor was talking to my father. And Derek was.. Laying. What is going on? The doctor noticed me and came over to me.

'Hello, are you Haley Notherpool?'

I started to tremble and to sweat.. I'm going to know everything in a few seconds.

'Yea- yes I am.'

'Your brother.. Had an hard surgery.. I'm sorry but he can't use his left side anymore.'

What? Left side? What is he talking about?

'I- I can't understand-'

'He won't see on his left eye, won't hear on his left ear, won't use his left arm and left feed. Also he'll have a problem while speaking and smelling things. I'm sorry.'

I had very big tears in my eyes. Sure, I loved him, he was my brother, but I hated him too. He wasn't a good brother. I'd never tell my children about him. But the fact is.. First my brother, now Derek. This can't be possible. Am I so dαngeroυs? Am I so.. Snaky? That's not me. That's not the Haley Notherpool I really am.

'But he has chances to heal right?'

'Probably we could help him to speak fairly "normal" again with a therapy but you know..' He looked unbelievable at me.

'You know what?'

'That costs a bit.'

I have to help him. I don't have money but... I have to do this. It's my fault. He's disabled.. Because of me.
One victim more because of me.

'How much?'

'12.000$. But you know, everything professional.'

WHAT?! 12.000$?! What the fuck is going on?! I've never even seen so much money.

'I'll pay it.' Niall came in.

'What?!' I looked very furious at Niall.

'Yeah you heard right Haley, I'll pay it. Or better to say, we'll pay it. I mean my money is yoυr money. So it's oυr money. There's no "yoυr" or "miηe". There's only "oυr".'

Oh my god. He's just an angel. God, what did I do good in the past, how did I deserve this angel?

'No sorry but no. I just.. Doctor I really want to pay it but-'

'No doc, don't listen to her. We have money. We'll pay it.'

'Sure Mister.'

'No I said no! Niall I don't want-' He came over to me and put his finger on my mouth.

I stopped talking.

'Haley, let's see things realistic. I have money, yeah I have money, cause I worked hard. You, you are a student. Your mother is dead, she's not sending money 'cause she isn't here anymore. Your father? Let's don't even start to talk about that. You only have me, and I only have you. Surely, I'll help my girlfriend to pay the therapy. What did you even expected from me? That I'll let you rack your brain to "find money" while I have enough? Without a doubt no. And I hope you know that. 'Cause we are one, remember that. If I'll have dark times, you'll help me out. And if you'll have dark times, I'll help you out. That's something like a rule. We are in this together, not just you or me. We both are responsible for his therapy money. And I hope you are aware of that.'

I looked with big eyes on Niall. Yes, he is an angel, I thought right.

'I love you. I love you so fucking much. Niall, never leave me. You're the only thing I have.'

His ocean blue eyes shined brighter than any city ever could, as he heard that.

'I love you so fucking much too. Me? Leaving you? Never in your wildest dreams.'

He kissed me.
