Do You Remember? Hao Asakura x OC

Chapter 1

Emiko Kikuchi woke up at 4 am this morning. Why you ask? Because she had another nightmare.

She was currently living with her cousin, Ren Tao. She decided to join him and his 'friends' on their journey to become Shaman King. How she ended up joining them is definitely a long story.

Emiko was on her way to the Tao residence. Her mother and father had said it would be best for her to live with their relatives for a while. They didn't tell her why but she already knew. They wanted to 'help' her by sending her away. She barely even knew her extended family. 'I wonder if they'll throw me out too,' she thought bitterly.

Emi was wearing black sweat pants and a tight red tank top with a white hoodie tied around her waist. Her red tennis shoes were muddy from the walk to the train station. Her golden hair was put into a messy ponytail that fell all the way past her shoulders. All she packed was a suit case, some money, and her trusty umbrella. This umbrella was given to her by her grandmother who passed away shortly after. It was black with the initials H.A. written in white on the underside. Emiko could still remember her grandmother's words, 'This has always belonged to you Emiko. Bring it with you every where you go.' At the time Emiko was 6 years old and didn't understand what her grandmother meant. Now she's 13 and still doesn't know.

"We are now arriving at ##### station, please exit calmly," she heard the speaker say.

She grabbed her luggage and exited the train with her umbrella in hand.

After an hour of trying to find out where the Tao residence was, Emiko finally found out its location. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" she screamed.

People walking all around turned to look at the red-faced angry girl. "I spent a whole hour trying to find out where they live and now I have to walk 17 miles just to get there!" she muttered angrily as she stomped away. Even some spirits started to stare as she passed them by.

Emiko looked out at the road in front of her. There was no one to be seen for miles. "Raitosupiritto," she said, "Are you close?" A tiny ball of light appeared at the tip of her umbrella. It zoomed around her head and landed back on her umbrella. "Haha, hi Raito. I hate to ask but can you ask Kazegafuku to help me out? I think she's sleeping right now. I can't seem to get in contact with her."

Raitosupiritto made a bzzmt sound and disappeared within the blink of an eye. Less then a minute later Emi felt a cool breeze hit her face.

Raito was back with a tall lady who seemed to be yawning. She looked about 28 years old and wore a traditional Japanese dress which was a deep green color which suited her tan skin perfectly. Her dress cut off at her knees and the large ribbon tied around her waist reached right above her ankles. Her dark brown hair was put into a low ponytail. Her emerald eyes showed tiredness as she bowed politely. "Sorry I didn't answer your call Master Emiko, it appears I had taken a deep nap," the spirit, Kazegafuku, said apologetically.

"It's alright, sorry for interrupting your nap!" Emiko said.

"It's quite alright, what is it that you need Master Emiko?" Kazegafuku asked.

"Could you take me to the Tao residence? It's about 12 miles down this road according to the people at the train station," Emi explained.

"Of course. Just hang on to your luggage and umbrella tightly. You too Raito, hang on tight!"

After fusing Kazegafuku with her umbrella, they arrived 10 minutes later infront of a... CASTLE!? She didn't remember seeing a castle last time she visited! (Which was 8 years ago.)
