I rode quietly in the black tahoe that had picked me up at our house. I was playing nervously with my thumbs while looking out the window. Why was I so nervous for this?

"Mommy, we see daddy?" I looked over at the most beautiful almost 3 year old in her car seat. There was no doubt that she was his. She had his eyes and while he argued that she looked exactly like me, I think she looks considerably like her father. She had my wavy strawberry blonde hair with a few freckles on her face, but the rest was him.

"Yeah baby. We are going to see daddy at his basketball game" She clapped her hands with excitement and continued to flip the pages in her book.

I looked at her outfit and was quite proud of how "festive" I had dressed her. She had on her blue SBNN shirt and her silver skirt made of tulle that I found last week. Her hair was up in a ponytail with two braids going back into the ponytail on each side of her hair. I completed her look with a blue and silver bow and silver sparkly sandals. She also was wearing a bracelet that Josh had gotten her in Europe. I, on the other hand, was not as festive but still dressed to show my support. I was wearing a matching SBNN shirt with white shorts and sparkly sandals. My hair was down and wavy and I wore my everyday makeup.

We had never really taken her out to any of Josh's events like this. Either I would just go or stay at home with her. This was really her first time in the public eye like this, other than going to the grocery store or shopping at the mall, etc. We had tried to keep her away from the paparazzi as much as we could to try and give her as much of a normal life as possible. We sat her down last night and explained to her about all the cameras and why they would be there. I guess you could say she understood well enough for a 3 year old.

I was torn from my thoughts when the car came to a stop and I saw all the people and paparazzi. We are here. The driver looked at us through the rear view mirror

"Mrs. Hutcherson, we will get through this crowd in a few minutes and then security will escort you to the court."

"thanks Paul" I smiled at him and turned to Mackenzie. Mackenzie Taylor Hutcherson to be more specific.

"Kenzie, we are almost there so lets put your book away and get our stuff together ok?"

"Ok mommy!" She was so adorable the way she would get so excited about things. Another trait she picked up from Josh. She put her book in her small backpack that she insisted on bringing to put her "camera" in to take pictures of daddy. I couldn't say no especially because it was a plastic toy camera.

We got to the drop off area and Mackenzie put her backpack on and I stepped out of the car first. I turned back around and held out my arms for Mackenzie. I carried her to the VIP area  for all the players families/ friends. I put Mackenzie down and set her in a chair. I fixed her bow and she took off her back pack and set in in a metal fold out chair next to her.

"where's daddy?" I looked around for him and didn't see him yet.

"I don't know baby. I don't see him yet but he will be here soon!" She smiled and a few minutes later, I heard a ton of girls screaming. Just then I saw the most amazing guy who I am so lucky to call my husband walk into view. Josh was taking pictures and signing autographs and then he saw us. He started to make his way over to us and Mackenzie looked up at me

"It's daddy!!" She practically screamed in my face.

"Go see him!"

"Daddy!!" She jumped down off her chair and took off running towards Josh. He stopped mid-court and bent down to scoop her up and spin her around.

"You look so beautiful baby girl!"

"I wear your shirt daddy!"

"Yes you did!" He kissed her forehead.
