September. Most everyone is usually pretty excited to be back at school. Classes have just started, friends are reunited, assignments have yet to have due dates, and back to school parties happen almost every night. My view on this September, is quite different than my fellow classmates'.

I have been attending classes nonstop for the past year and a half in order to finish school so I could move to LA for my career. Well, my career and Josh. Josh and I met when I was interviewing for a Marketing/ PR job in November of last year. I've always been a fan of his but when he asked me out, suddenly I wasn't too sure. It took some convincing, but with Josh and his charm, we went out to dinner and have been together since. Needless to say, I have my dream job waiting for me in LA plus the most incredible guy any girl could hope for.

Josh and I haven't seen each other since I had about 2 weeks off in July in between summer semesters. Sure we've texted and called and even Facetimed so we could actually see each other, but I miss his touch, his lips, the way he never lets go of my hand or my waist when we are out somewhere, the way he whispers how much he loves me right before I fall asleep in his arms.

You could say that my stress level is pretty high right now. I only have this semester and the one after and then I will graduate and move to LA 3 days after graduation. I'm currently taking 21 course hours and working a part time job as an intern at a local event planner. Needless to say, my weekends are just as busy as my weekdays.

I just finished my second class today and I have two more after lunch. I had a few spare minutes so I decided on going back to my apartment for lunch as opposed to eating on campus. As I placed my leftover Chinese food that I had for dinner in the microwave, my phone that was sitting on the kitchen counter began to vibrate and I saw a picture of Josh and I illuminate the screen.

"Hello?"

"Hey. You got a minute?"

"Yeah. I'm just eating lunch. What's up babe?"

"So um, what are you doing this weekend?"

"Uh, let's see. Surprisingly, we don't have any events this weekend but I've got to write a paper for 2 of my classes and then go into work to catch up on some work on Saturday. Why? What are you plotting Josh?"

"I was thinking maybe I could see you this weekend?"

"Oh Josh. I would love to see you too. But I just have so much work and I have a presentation next Tuesday, and-"

"I figured you were going to say that. So what would you say if I told you that I got you a ticket to the iHeartRadio music festival in Vegas this weekend?"

"You what?!"

"That's right! Vegas baby! Well, technically I got you an all access pass. I'm presenting on the first day and I may have pulled a few strings."

"Josh! Oh my God I can't believe this! But baby I have so much to do."

"I already called your boss and she said that you work harder than most of the full time employees so you deserve some time off."

"Ok but what about my assignments?"

"Christina. I know you do your assignments like 2 weeks in advance so I know for a fact that they are not due for awhile and that you have probably already prepared for your presentation that is next week."

"Fine. You caught me. The papers are due in 2 weeks but you know I have to do my assignments early in case something at work comes up or in case I have a last minute assignment. Plus, I have 3 classes on Friday."

"They're all before noon. You would get to Vegas in plenty of time! Are you trying to avoid me?"

"No, Josh. Of course not. I'm just so stressed. I'm scared that if I miss a day or an assignment, it'll mess everything up and I wont graduate next year."
