On Sunday, I woke up to the sound of rain. I don't mind rainy days.

I don't mind the sound of rain, the sound of pitter-pattering on the windows and the moist sound of fine raindrops falling. The sound of water slapping against the asphalt, the sound of water splashing when a child jumps into a puddle.

I love to listen to the sound of water.

It feels good to feel the moisture on my skin.

If it was my day off alone, I would read a book while listening to the sound of the rain, without turning on the TV. But today, I feel a little uncomfortable.

Since I was going out with Ren, I wanted it to be sunny anyway.

I turned on the TV and saw that the time was 5:26.

Laughing at the fact that I had woken up as early as a child on a field trip, I switched the channel and heard the smiling announcer say that the rain would stop in the afternoon.

I clenched my fist and hoped that the weather would stay fine while I made my morning coffee. I made instant coffee instead of drip because I failed the other day.

"Is it 5:30 or ......, okay?"

Since I woke up too early, I decided to make breakfast.

I want to be able to cook by the time Ren teaches me how to cook, so I have all the ingredients to practice.

However, I can't cook anything difficult at the moment, so the menu is just toast, fried eggs and sausage.

It may be a simple dish, but for me, just breaking an egg is a nerve-wracking task.

Every time I break an egg, the shell gets stuck, the yolk gets crushed, and it even burns.

I know I should turn down the heat, but I get tired of it and turn up the heat. Hisamitsu pointed out that this was the cause of my defeat, so I decided to cook it slowly today.

"Oh, I messed up."

As I was removing the shells with my chopsticks, I lost control and poked the yolk to break it.

I could have dropped it on the pan without breaking it. I also realised that I had forgotten something.

"Oops, I forgot to add oil."

I hurriedly put in some salad oil, but this time I put in too much and the eggs got soaked in the oil.

Wondering what to do, I tried to tilt the pan to transfer the oil to an unused plate, but as I expected, I almost transferred the eggs as well, which made me very upset.

If I tilted the pan too much, the eggs would be transferred, but if I kept the angle moderate, the oil would not flow well. In the end, I gave up and decided to make a fried egg with the oil in the pan.

"I was able to do it, but it wasn't a fried egg, it was a "Fried egg". Oops, I almost forgot."

I was so engrossed in frying the eggs that I forgot about the sausage.

I took the fried egg, the yolk cracked and soggy, onto a plate, transferred the excess oil to another plate, and placed two sausages on the pan.

As I rolled the sausages around on the pan, they puffed up and ripped diagonally across the center.

"Oh, it's ripped. That's weird."

The sausage sold in the lunch box didn't have a tear, did it? Is there a difference in the type of sausage used?

I searched for "sausage ripping" on my phone and found that it was better to cut into the sausage.

"I see what you mean. Wah, not good!"
