"Lia, come here anak!" I called my daughter, holding her little jacket while she run away from me.
A sigh escaped my lips as I stand up from crouching down to follow my daughter who ran out of the bedroom to probably hide.
"Anak, please, may work si mama. I'll be late anak." Tawag ko ulit dito nang makalabas ako ng kwarto, narinig ko ang maliit niyang paghagikhik at napamasahe ako sa aking noo habang bahagyang napapangiti. This kid... masyadong makulit.
I carefully walk towards the sofa where I can hear her soft chuckles coming from, I crouch down a bit so she won't notice me.
"Find me mama!" Sigaw nito at pinigilan ko na mapatawa. Akala niya siguro ay ang layo ko pa sa kaniya, hindi niya alam na nasa gilid na ako ng sofa at nakikita ko na siya na sumisilip naman sa kabilang gilid.
"Got you little girl!" I carefully held her up where she squirmed in my hands. Damn she's so tall for her age which makes her heavy.
"Put this on na, anak." I told her as I place her down on the sofa. She giggled as I help her put on her little jacket.
"Tito Tobi will be here in few minutes and he will take you to lola." I said as I help her to get down from the sofa.
"Mama, I want to bring pancakes from breakfast." ani nito habang nakatingala sa akin. Her eyes in a cute doe shape.
I smiled and caress her hair, "There's no leftovers na anak, magpapabili nalang tayo kay tito Tobi on your way to lola, okay?" sagot ko sa kaniya at tumango ito bago nagtatakbo papasok ng kwarto. Napatawa ako bago napa-iling. It's just 7 in the morning and she is already energetic. I'm not a very morning person but because of this little cutie, nakakaya kong gumising ng 5AM para makapaghanda ng almusal namin.
I followed her to our bedroom and change to my corporal attire. I also fixed my hair and put on a thin layer of make-up before slipping through my heels. While Lia is peacefully sitting down on our bed and playing with her dolls. My phone is just beside her but she's not familiar with it. No phones or any type of gadgets until she's 6. That's what Ali suggested so that she won't be addicted on gadgets at young age. She told me that's what her mom did. She got her first tablet at 8. I consider her suggestion since as a kid who grew up with gadgets, I can tell it won't be fun for Lia. I let her play with her toys or just watch TV.
"Tito Tobi's here! Mama, down!" sigaw nito, napatawa ako at napa-iling bago binitawan ang make-up brush na hawak ko at ibinaba siya mula sa kama.
Tunog palang ng sasakyan ni Tobias kilala na niya. She's the one who first run out from the room before I followed her with her bag that contains her essentials to the door where she's already jumping, excited to see his tito Tobi. Parang hindi sila nagkita kahapon.
