"Good morning ma'am, what can I get for you?" I welcomed the customer with a smile. I've realized that she have been here for 5 weeks straight now and as usual, she got her Macchiato and bagel.

"Your order will be serves in few minutes ma'am." I said as I hand her change and receipt. She smiled at me before walking away from the counter and I immediately welcomed the next customer.

Working in a cafe for more than a year now is not as hard as I thought. Except from some rude customers that needs 101% of my patience. It's different from my work at papa's but since I wanted to earn a bigger amount of money, I need to work on somewhere else. It might be far from home but it's fine, I still get to see my little girl after work.

"Are you sure about that Hannah?" I asked my co-worker, I once again had an hour overtime since there was a rush of customers today and it was a hard time for us to switch cashiers. I also wasn't able to clean the floor by the counter and Hannah insisted on doing it instead.

She chuckled and nod, "Yes, now go! Your little girl is waiting for you at the nursery!" she pushed me out of the counter that made me giggle.

"Fine, fine, no need to push me." I said and she chuckled, "Oh, by the way! This is for little Lia, tell her that aunt Hannah bought that for her." she handed me a small paper bag and when I opened it, there's three cake pops inside.

I smiled, "I will, she'll love these. Bye Hannah! Thank you!" I said while walking away from her and waving her a goodbye.

Once I'm out of the cafe, I rush to Lia's nursery that is two kilometers away from my workplace but I don't bother taking a taxi since I want to save money.

The sun already went down as I arrived in front of the nursery. I was panting, sweating and catching my breath as I entered the small facility.

"Hey, I'm here to pick up Liam Valdez." I said to the teacher by the door.

She smiled at me and stand up, "Lia, mommy's here." she called, when I saw my little girl snap her head at my direction, I felt at ease. I felt relax and all those tiredness left my system.

A wide smile grew on her lips and she immediately stood up, with her cute, wobbly run, I opened my arms wide and in no time, I'm already hugging my little girl.

"Mama! 6 stars! Look!" She showed me her both arms, 3 stars on each.

I gasped, "Wow! Very good, anak! Are you ready to go home na ba?" I asked and she nods,

"Go grab your bag na." I said and she nods before running towards her Iron Man backpack.

"Thank you so much Ms. Park, I'm sorry for causing inconvenience and fetching Lia late." I said to her teacher.
