Cafeteria
"Hey guys, I saw Alu na sa cafeteria."
"We?! For real? OMG!"
The librarian hushed and looked at Aleena who shouted. She raised her two fingers saying peace, the librarian just shook her head in frustration.
"Ang ingay mo naman kase Aleena, baka mapalabas tayo rito. We're here to study for our examination this afternoon, okay?" Yria rolled her eyes as she started scanning her notes.
"yeah, whatever" Aleena answered. "Pero nagulat talaga ako na nakabalik na siya rito sa Pinas, ang tagal niya rin nawala"
Yria agreed and they continued talking about Alu with low voice. Mukhang wala na silang balak magreview. Limang linggo na rin nung mag umpisa ang klase namin, ngayon exam na agad. Mga ilang minuto ang lumipas bago sila tumahimik at nagbasa ng notes, buti naman. Nakakarindi rin boses nila eh.
Aleena Morielle Sulivan and Yria Noemi Briquez , My two best friends since I was 7 years old. Now that were 16 years old, our friendship is getting stronger and stronger that even a boy can't destroy us.
It's been 1 month since the first day of school and exam na agad namin. It happened so fast.
We studied there for almost 1 hour until we decided to eat since we still have 30 minutes before our examination. Nauunang maglakad si Aleena dahil kanina pa raw siya gutom kahit kabibili niya lang ng waffles sa batang babae na dumaan sa labas ng library kanina.
"I'll order for you guys, what do you want?" I asked. "My treat, nakakahiya naman kay Aleena na patay gutom" I added. Yria laughed while Aleena just rolled her eyes at us.
"I want double cheese burger, large fries, egg sandwich and coke"
"Thats too much, Aleena. Kabibili mo lang ng waffles ah? Btw, chicken sandwich and iced tea without ice yung sakin."

I laughed. Hindi ko na tinapos ang pagtatalo nila at umorder na. Many people we're looking at me like I did something wrong, I just ignored them and continue walking. Aba, gutom na ako. Anong pakialam ko sa kanila.
"Oooh my famous bff is here" agad akong napalingon sa likod ko nang may nagsalitang boses babae. "Hi my bff, Zhye! Pasingit naman ako, oh. Pero I was wondering why are you here? Ang laki mong trash hindi ka nakita ng janitor" she and her friends laughed at me and looked at me.
She's Arshey Gerilo, a cheerleader. They respect her so much because her dad was the owner of our school. Takot silang lahat kay Arshey because she's mataray, except saming magkakaibigan.
She pushed my shoulder a little using her index finger, smirking. This bitch! Lagi nalang akong nagpipigil dito kahit gusto ko na siyang ipa-tapon sa Mars.
Lagi nalang akong napapansin, ganon niya ba ako ka-gustong asarin araw-araw? Kung maka hawak pa sakin akala mo naman may virus ako, diring diri ba naman.
"What do you want, Arshey?" I asked as I crossed my arms and raised my brow.
"Aba? Bakit parang galit ka, bff ko? Binati lang naman kita" she smirked.
"Bff your face. We're not even close so stop playing around, stop bothering me" Her smirk fade away, she rolled her eyes and looked at me seriously.
"Look, I'm not here for away Zhye. Binaba-
"Not here for away but still trying to get my attention just to say some things that aren't nice. Hindi mo kina-cool 'yon" Hindi ko na pinatapos ang sasabihin niya sapagkat lalo lang akong maiinis.
"You're such a b*tch!! Baka nakakalimutan mo na si dad ang may ari ng school na tinatapakan mo ngayon? Gusto mo ba na ipaalam ko sa kani-
"That's enough, Arshey." a man's voice cut her off.
I looked at him without any expression on my face, he looked back. Who's that man? Edi si Antonio Lucas. Sino si Antonio Lucas? The one and only famous basketball captain na pinaguusapan ng lahat, also known as Alu. I call him Alu the great because they all admire him for being "GREAT".
I almost forget that this btch is his girlfriend. Arshey wrapped her arms into Lucas biceps and rolled her eyes at me.
Tumalikod na ako at nag-order. Wala naman akong pakialam dun kila Arshey, siya naman 'yong laging lumalapit. Pagdating sa table, syempre chinika na nila ako kung ano yung nangyari.
"What happened, Z? Sinaktan ka ba nung babae na 'yon? Just let us know if may ginawa siyang masama baka mamaya balikan ka non kasi sinagot-
"I'm okay Aleena" I cut her off. Nag o-overthink nanaman to eh. Minsan kung ano-ano nalang nasasabi kapag nagaalala. Yria rolled her eyes at me. "What?" I asked.
"Let's eat nalang while walking, malalate na tayo" bastos talaga 'to tinatanong ko tapos 'di ako pinansin.
"You know what Z, alam ko na ba't nang eepal si Arshey eh. Masyadong triggered sa presence mo, maganda ka and smart" Yria said while we're walking.
"Yooohooo!! Nakatapos din sa exam sa wakas! Akala ko hindi ko masasagutan yung last page eh, puro identification. Ang hirap diba Yria lalo na dun sa may bandang gitna, hinu-
"Ay nako ang ingay naman Aleena, please lower your voice. Look oh, ang daming mga chismosang nakatingin"
Napailing nalang ako sa kanilang dalawa. Lagi nalang silang nagbabangayan, hindi naman kasi matigil kadadaldal si Aleena kaya pinag sasabihan na rin ni Yria. Pero kapag tumahimik nang sobra 'yang si Aleena, may problema 'yan.
"Hindi naman sa ating dalawa nakatingin 'yang mga 'yan. Tiyak si Zhye ang tinitingnan nila. Tingnan mo naman, akala mo model" I rolled my eyes at them kasi nadamay nanaman ako.
It's 5:00 in the afternoon and katatapos lang ng exam namin. Sabagay, 2 subjects din 'yon at tama si Aleena dahil may kahirapan din 'yong huli.
"Samahan niyo nalang kaya ako sa mall kasi bibili ako ng bagong dress" Aleena said while smiling at us, waiting for our answer.
"Uhm... I can't go with you guys, I'm sorry. Babawi nalang ako next time. We have family dinner today and minsan lang 'yon kaya..." I said trying to explain my side kasi ayokong malungkot si Aleena. She's too happy today.
"Awww, It's okay Z! I understand pero mauuna na kami, ha? Bumawi ka nalang sakin bukas, ibili mo ako ng ice cream. Alis na kami para hindi na kami masyadong gabihin sa mall. See you!"
I waved my hands while watching them go inside Aleena's car. Yep, may driver siya kasi 'di siya sanay mag drive but it's her own car.
Makalipas ang ilang minuto ay nakita ko na ang itim na sasakyan na kanina ko pa hinihintay.
Bumaba ang bintana at agad kong nakita si kuya Rovs na nakangiti. Si kuya Rovs ang aming family driver.
"Good afternoon ma'am! Tara na, kanina ka pa inaantay nila boss" saad nito. Tumango na lamang ako at ngumiti bago sumakay.
