Chapter 3: The Village

Y/n= your name.

"What's your name darling?" He says while taking my hand and kissing it causing me to blush. "My name is y/n" I said "that's a beautiful name" he says. "Why don't we go to my palace and I'll introduce you to everyone there." Voltaere said "okay" I said, the guards went on their horses. Voltaere picked me up and sat me on the horse "hold on tight" he said, as he suggested I held on tight. He signaled the guards to go in less than a second the horses took off fast leading through an arch way of trees. There was pink,purple and red flowers and vines growing on the trees that were forming the archway, I admired everything on our way to his village.

Voltaere's POV
As we were riding through the archway of the trees I couldn't help but notice how much I've looked back at y/n. Everything about her was beautiful or cute, the way she looked at things in awe like she's never seen anything like them. I don't know why but for some reason she feels...different. I went back to staring at her and to my surprise she was already looking at me with a gentle smile, I couldn't help but look back to the horses out of embarrassment. We soon had arrived at the village I got off the horse and offered her my hand. She took my hand and got off the horse.

Y/n's POV:
Voltaere helped me off the horse and in front of me I saw a stone bridge. "Let's take a walk into the village" Voltaere said, I nodded and followed him. As we walked I saw cherry blossom trees, a river under the bridge with lily pads floating gently on the glistening river, and some red and pink roses growing around the river. I looked at the cherry blossom trees and back in front of me. I noticed how much Voltaere was staring at me which made me wonder why. Was there something on my face!?Something behind me!? I then was snapped out of my thoughts when voltaere had said something under his breath. "Did you say something?" I asked while stopping he then stopped and looked at me "huh-what?-no!-" he said stuttering out of embarrassment he then looked at me in my eyes. As we were looking at each other making eye contact the sun had fixated on his face making his eyes seem lighter like a beautiful chocolate brown eye color, I couldn't help but stare at his eyes for a moment longer before he spoke up "we should be close to the gates" he said while looking at the ground slightly embarrassed. We then continued to walk and I began to see a gate door, the gate doors were huge oak doors with vines and beautiful carvings carved on the door and the fence was like a big wall that looked very tall and long. The village must be huge if the walls and doors are that big I thought to myself, Voltaere went up to the door the someone came up on the speaker "what's the password?" A deep voice asked he kind of sounded like a guard "5421390" Voltaere said. The guy on the other Side was quiet then there was a buzzing sound and the gates had opened. I looked inside there was hills with cottages on them, shops of all kinds, schools, different kinds of flowers and cherry blossom trees and all kinds of creatures roaming around the village talking and greeting one another everything was light colored and I noticed Voltaere was the only one wearing all black. But I looked back at the village breath taken at the sight of how the village looked especially in The sunlight. Then I heard Voltaere chuckle "wait till you see the palace" he said.
