Fix my heart (a Braden Barrie love story)

By the river

*2 weeks later*
"I'm going out" I yield as I walked out the door camera in hand "ok just make sure ur back by super." my dad yelled in response with that I was gone out the door.
It was about a 20 minute walk down to the river ware I was going to take photos for my art class. we were doing some kind of natural art thing or whatever, witch actually got me really existed I love photography. Well my inner babel was going on I looked around the forested trial I saw a deer at first I didn't see anything it was just quit then I noticed a couple of birds fly over head and a squirrel ran across the ground in front of me, he stopped and looked at me just long enough for me to get a photo before he ran again, I walked for about 15 minutes more and the little wooden sign that pointed to the river was just beside me it was strange that that was the only clearing in the hole forest like it was the most important thing I smiled at the thought and took a quick photo I could see the river now, But before I stepped out of the forest I noticed to deer a buck and a dow the Dow was drinking well the buck stud watch it was beautiful. I took I photo but with the dining light I had to put the flash on tiping them off that I was there the light and some had scared them off I sighed and looked at the photo it was a good photo everything was the same as in reality. ok now time for the river I took maybe 10 photos of the river all from different angles and and spots it was almost 5 we don't eat until 7 witch gives me sometime to just sit and enjoy this little Spot let the rest of the world melt away just me the river the forest and whatever animal happens to walk past iciness my eyes and layers back just listening to wind blow I don't know how long I layer like that but I was startled awake by the sound of foot steps coming down the trial "oh hi y/n I didn't think anyone else came here." I heard Braden say "hi Braden." I said with a warm smile as I pushed myself up if the ground we talked for about45 minutes about his secret little spot he told me that this was were he was when he wrote by the river, "it was just something about this spot it gave me the words that I was missing I mean I had the music but no words and this place always helps me focus but I wasn't even thinking about it and I just knew the words." he explained " hey umm what time is it?" U asked suddenly remembering u promised to be happy me for super "it's 6:40 why." Crap If I fun I can be home before super I thought "I could give u a ride my cars only about 5 minutes down the trial by the sign." he said I guess I must have said that out loud opss "yeah that would be awesome u know where I live right." he nodded and we went to his car. the drive was quite but it was a comfortable silence the radio was playing quietly it was peaceful. we pulled up to my house to soon I wanted to spend some more time with im but sadly I had to go "u want me to walk u to the door?" He asked "if I want." I said before i could even move he was out of the car and opening my door for me he walked me up to my door and gave me a hug good by I went inside as he pulled out. I smiled as I replayed the events of today in my head I noticed a note on the table as I walked toward the kitchen
" your mom has to stay late at work tonight I'm going to grab a pizza be back soon if I'm not already home love you

Way to keep it classy dad I thought to myself I could hear his truck pulling in when he walked In he had 2 large pizzas one and a half of which he would eat him self a case of pop and some movies looks like tonight will be a fun I ran upstairs and grabbed a bunch of blankets when I can down my f
Dad had everything ears set up the night went like this pizza a popcorn fight and a funny movie that I somehow fell asleep watching. I woke up at 3am and walked to the bathroom to get some water I looked in the mirror to see that someone had drawn On me well I was sleeping I washed my face and grabbed a sharpie when I was done I laughed quietly and went back to sleep I was going to pay for that in the morning but for right now it was funny.
