Chapter Seven - Welp I tried

While the entire class made their way out to recess you took the time to notice that the new student had this weird device on him. Upon further inspection you noticed that the device was back and had a red flashing light. Before you could even approach Nugget the new kid already was talking to him so you took this time to talk to some other people.

The first persons that came to mind was Lily since she looked the most approachable then the other kids in your class. Currently Lily was over by the statue of the principal. (This school was to poor to afford proper toys but could afford a statue of their principal.) You were starting to get sweaty from standing outside in the sun and that just game you another reason to talk to Lily and stay in the shade.

Speedily you walked over to Lily and introduced yourself. She just stared at you for a moment then shifted her gaze towards the statue. "It was him," Lily started, "I know it was." In turn you stared at the statue to. " The principal?" You questioned. Lily responded with her entire long story of her brother. (It's like 3:00 AM and I'm too tired to write more detail then I have to)
You felt pity for the poor girl and that lead to you promising that you would help her with whatever you could to help her find her brother. Eventually your gaze landed on the prettiest flower you had ever seen. It had blue petals and a pink center. Instinctively you picked up the flower to show at show and tell.

And you did just that, after the recess bell rung and the teacher ushered all the kids inside you were called on first for show and tell. So you pulled out the flower and talked about it. It didn't take too long for everybody to finish show and tell so that you could finally go home. And as soon as you heard the bell you never the flash and dashed out of the classroom, not before grabbing you bag thought. Sprinting home you swing open the door threw your bag on the couch. Unfortunately your mom makes you dump everything out of your backpack after school so you stated going through the items one by one until you felt something at the bottom of your bag.
