Chapter Eleven - Sandpit

Nugget.

It was Nugget playing in the sand pit. You were debating whether or not to approach him to avoid the awkwardness. Although it didn't really matter because Nugget had spotted you anyways. It was clear the he was embarrassed because he immediately turned his head away and pretended he didn't see you. Now you were left with a choice: walk away and be an ass to him, or alternatively: Approach him and talk to him about yesterday.

Well the second option was scary but it could have a better outcome so you went with it instead. Letting out a deep breath you didn't know you were holding you marched over to Nugget and sat besides him.

Nuggets face got even redder then before and he stuffed his face in his hoodie not daring to look up at you. Gently you patted his head and played subconsciously with the sand in your other hand. Surprisingly it was pretty warm in your hands, soft to. Finally you grabbed his head and gently placed a kiss to his cheek before running off back home. Too much social interaction for today! Time to go into the mountains for six months, maybe even train for defeating Satan.

Not really wanting to do anything after that any more you grabbed a tablet and watched some YouTube. As one does when they are bored. However you couldn't get your mind off Nugget and kept thinking about no matter what you did to try and not. It's like you needed to be around him to feel complete. You were completely and hopelessly in love with him.

The weekend went by slow but soon enough it passed and you could go back to school. Which you were exited for but also very nervous. Understanding Nugget was hard at best and now you cant seem to get away from him. You decided to make a surprise for Nugget: A Crafted nugget made to look like a human, more specifically Nugget and then you coloured it with edible markers.

In order not to be late you shoved it in your backpack and headed down the road for your school. It wasn't a very far walk so you didn't have to run but far enough that you had to speed walk to get there in time. But you made it there without any interruption so everything was fine. As soon as morning time started you would give nugget his present.

A/N I've managed to avoid it for my entire life until now. Even though I was vaccinated I still got COVID😅😅 So I've been sick but I'm feeling better so I finally finished this chapter.
