Chapter Ten - His Confession

Nuggets mouth opened but before he could say anything he flinched and shut his mouth. He looked away and the blush on his cheeks grew stronger. You just wait patiently for Nugget to reveal what it was he wanted to say. Subconscious glancing down at your feet

"Y/N."

Realizing you were looking at your feet you started staring into his eyes.
It was then Nugget started to talk.

"Y/NPLEASEDONTHATEMEBUTILIKEYOUANDICANTSTOPTHINKINGABOUTYOUSOPLEASEDONTHATEME! "

You had so many questions. Like why didn't he refer to himself in third person? Why couldn't he breath in between the words he said and-

The. Words. He. Said.

Did Nugget just say that he liked you??? Taking in a deep breath you told Nugget that you didn't hate him and in fact you liked him too.

Safe to say Nugget took the news.... Sorta well.

He started crying but he was also smiling and doing a whole lot of other stuff that you didn't understand.

Once he finally calmed down he offered to walk you home and you happily accepted. You grabbed Nuggets hand and walked with him towards your house.

Waving goodbye to Nugget you approached your front door and walked inside. Flopping on the couch you thought about what happened today. First you were soaked by Cindy. Second you were sent to the principals office but got away so he wouldn't shoot you or do whatever he does to punish kids. And lastly you got confessed to by your crush.

What a day.

Great day, but exhausting.

With no energy left to continue on awake you fell into a well needed sleep for the rest of the day.

When you woke up you realized it was Saturday meaning you didn't have to go to school. Having somewhere to go in mind when you woke up you changed out of your clothes from yesterday and got into some fresh new clothes.

You walked out the door and heading down the street. It was rather quiet on the road since barley any body had work to do. Quietly you hummed a tune to yourself while you continued on your walk.

Eventually you reached your destination, the neighborhood park! It was much better then the one at your school since it had much for funding to clean it. Originally you thought nobody else was here but that proved to be wrong when you spotted someone in the sand pit.
