𝖠𝖭𝖫 (𝖧𝗎𝖺𝗇𝗀 𝖱𝖾𝗇𝗃𝗎𝗇)

𝐎𝐧𝐞

It was another one yet normal day for everyone but it's a whole new day for Na Ahnjin, for her, being 17 year old, young and free, she wanted to enjoy it rather than locking herself in. She could say she's neither introvert or extrovert. It's base on how her day goes. "Renjun!"

The taller man sighs, halting from sweeping to face her. "What?" Renjun ask, in his usual poker face. "For our whole high school till 11,we're classmates" She starts. "And?" The man shortly replied. "Don't you think it's fate?" She chuckles.

"I don't think so"

And he walk away. Ahnjin could only watch his back fade away. She knew Renjun neither like nor hate her. Maybe in between? Even tho the man hardly show it, she can notice it. Everytime they would go home together, she knew Renjun is slowing down so she could catch up.

And she knew Renjun doesn't push her away, despite knowing her romantic feelings for him, because he enjoys her company. Renjun never admits it to her but she knew it deep down.

Returning to the classroom, Ahnjin walk over to her seat, sitting down. Her gaze immediately went to Renjun who's quietly reading his book. Standing up again, she sat on the chair in front of the man. Her presence were immediately notice by Renjun. "What is it?" Renjun sighs. "Renjun" She calls. "What?" Renjun respond. "What are you reading? Romance?"

The man close his book lifting it to show the title to her. "Anatomy." Renjun adds. "That's boring! You should try reading this" She took out her book placing it on top of the book Renjun is reading. "The..." Renjun starts. "Kissing booth" Renjun stares at her. "You know....the main character is a bad boy and the woman likes him however-"

"How about you just tell me the whole story?"

"Ok, I'll shut up" She zips her mouth. "And please Noah is mine" She whispers. "Noah?" Renjun frowns. "The hot and sexy main character" She laughs. Renjun only gave her a glare so she immediately stand up going back to her seat.

Renjun walk out of the building unlocking his cycle. Sitting on his cycle, he's about to get home when he hears footsteps. "Renjun! Wait for me" Ahnjin shouts unlocking her own cycle. He only shakes his head driving away.

Secretly peeking behind him, a small smile crept in his mouth noticing Ahnjin behind him. Slowing down, he pretends to look around.

After the long ride, they finally reach home. Renjun lock his bike like what the woman is doing. "Uhm Renjun" He halts facing the woman. "Are you busy this Saturday?" Ahnjin asks. "I'm not sure" He answered. "Then, meet me here at 3pm" And the woman run off.

Once the woman is out of his sight, he immediately pull his phone to check his schedule. "I have a test" He sighs in disappointment. Taking a deep breath, he dials their teacher's number which is unreachable. Throwing his phone in his pocket, he walk in the building.

"Renjun" He hums not facing his Mom as he kept his eyes on his computer. "You're CSAT just ended, right? You'll be a mathematic professor, in KEIST" His Mom declares. "Mom" He calls facing his Mom. "I won't go to KEIST" He states. "What? Did you fail?"

"No, I want to go to Medical school" He shakes his head. "Hey, what are you saying? Do you not know what happened to your father?" His Mom rant. "I know but still, I won't go to KEIST whether I got accepted or not. I'll go to Hankuk" He says. "I'm sorry, it's my life. I get to decide"

Renjun exits the staff room carrying the pile of textbooks. "Give me" Haechan grab a few from him. "Hey, have you decided where to go? We're graduating" The man nudge him. "Do you know how sad Ahnjin is? She's studying so hard right now because she wants to go to KEIST with you"

That made him stop. His mouth slightly hang open before he let out a sigh. "I won't go to KEIST" He broke the news. "Why? I heard you got accepted" Haechan states. "I did but I won't go" He shrug. "I..."

"I want to stay by Ahnjin's side"

Finally back in the classroom and in his seat. Renjun crane his neck looking at Ahnjin who kept her eyes set on the textbook. "Am I dreaming? Why is Ahnjin studying?" Chenle shouts. "I must go to KEIST" Ahnjin face Chenle. "What did you say? KEIST? I can't even go there! Well, a man can dream" Chenle exclaims. "Is it really hard to get there?"

"Yeah, with your grades, you should settle to a regular college" Chenle adds. "Renjun is going to KEIST, if I don't go there we'll have a long distance relationship" She look down. "You're not even his girlfriend, what's wrong with you?" Jeno laughs.

"Calm down." Sungchan arrives placing a choco milk on her table. "Thank you" She sighs unsealing the packaging. "Sungchan" She twist her body to face the taller man. "How about you? Are you going to a University or you'll continue with soccer?"

"I..." Sungchan stutters. "I haven't decided yet" She nods facing her table again. "How about you?" She immediately face her friend. "Do you think I can make it to KEIST?" She smiles. "K...KEIST? I don't think so" Sungchan admits. "Your rank is lower than mine"

"Ah! What should I do?" She cries. "Just...apply to a normal college school. University is not for everyone, don't worry" Sungchan respond. "But Renjun..." She sighs. "What about him?" The man asks. "He's going to KEIST. And it's two to three hours away" She look down.

"Hey, come with me"
