Makeup artist Eric Ferrel first worked with Aaliyah on the photoshoot for her debut album Age Ain't Nothing But a Number. She was 15 at the time.
When asked about his experience meeting Aaliyah, he said, "She was very, very shy and really reserved and it was funny because I noticed that she kept looking at me strangely that day."
