Kathlyn was comfortably lying on Dane's arms the next morning when she remembered something.

"Ah! Have to ask you something. Wait here." She quickly got up from bed but immediately stopped herself when she realized that she was fully naked in front of City's most notorious hotshot playboy. 

He was smirking when she looked at him. She blushed and shook her head. 

Kath walked towards the cabinet at kinuha ang pakay niya. She also slid into one of her sexy night gowns and walked back towards Dane not bothering if she's wearing undergarments at all.

"Here." She said showing him the Tiffany & Co. box.

"What?" He asked, curious.

"What?" She asked back waiting for him to answer her explicitly.

"It's yours." He just said.

"Dane, you know it's too much. This necklace cost fortune. In fact, the price of this necklace can be a downpayment to any class A condo, apartment, and even a house and lot!" She ranted but being careful not to offend him.

He chuckled and walked towards her and tilted her chin up. A pair of beautiful crystal brown eyes were staring at her. Deeply. "You brought too much happiness in my life, love. I'm really glad I had the chance to get know you, slept with you, make love to you, and this..." And slowly, he descended his face to hers, slowly tasting every corner of her lips. "Kissed you. Wala lang 'tong kwintas na 'to sa lahat ng masasayang oras na ipinaramdam mo saakin whenever I'm with you. You gave me memories that is worth keeping. You deserve more than this. It's my congratulations gift to you." He said.

Kathlyn's eyes were wet with tears. Emotions overwhealmed her at once. She didn't see it coming. She always thought that it was only her who was thankful that she had given a chance to get to know the real Dane Ford. Just like her, he also brought too much happiness in her life, or more than that. 

And again, no other human being has ever made her feel this appreciated before. Not even her parents. She was the hand-me-down girl of Jane. She never had anything beautiful or as expensive as Dane's present for her. 

She leaned forward and gave him a kiss like it was a normal yet very special thing to do.

He smiled. "You're welcome. Now, let's see them."

Dahan dahang tumalikod si Kath at hinawi pataas ang buhok niya. Just a few seconds, a cold metal touched her skin. She was bit shaking when she turn around so he can see it on her.

He was staring at her for a full minute. Not saying anything. Just giving her an intense look that suddenly made her nervous.
