When they entered the plane, Kath couldn't help but be amazed. The interior of the plane was luxurious and classy. It has long leather couches, an eight-seater dining set, all in rich combinations of gold and cream colors. She sat on the sofa and Dane sat down beside her.

"Your plane?"

Dane shrugged. "My family's."

"So ito yung ginamit mo nung pumunta kang London?"

"Oo. Hungry?"

Kath nodded.

"We'll have lunch after take-off."

"Where are we going, Dane?"

His eyes glittered. "Somewhere we're sure no one knows both of us."

She rolled her eyes. "At saan naman po 'yon?"

"Alaska."

Her jaw dropped. It took a while for her to recover. She heard somebody asking them to fasten their seatbelts.

"Dane... mga ilang oras na biyahe din 'yon."

"Eleven."

She reminder herself that it's usual to be shocked when she's with him. Dapat siguro talaga ay sanayin niya na ang sarili niyang magulat dahil sa mga kagagawan nang lalaking 'to at baka atakihin nalang siya ng biglaan sa puso. "And when do you plan to get back?"

"Monday."

"I work on Monday!"

"I'm sure you can take a day off."

"Ano ... anong sasabihin ko kanila Ej? I'm sure maghahanap ang mga iyon."

He leaned back on his seat. "Weren't you the creative author of best-selling novels in the Philippines once?"

She nodded.

"So do what you do best. Be creative!"He grinned.

She groaned. Walang ibang nagawa si Kath kundi ang sumandal sa upuan niya. She was silent all throughout take-off, thinking of the best white lies she's going to tell to her friends.

Finally, the plane was in the air, and the pilot informed them that it's safe to unfasten their seatbelts.

Dane quickly got of his seat and went to her to unbuckled her belt and to her surprise, he lifted her off her seat and brought her to the sofa, so she could sit on his lap.
