Kathlyn can't do anything right in these past four days. More often, she was staring into space. She was always jumping everytime her mobile phone rings and beep hoping to see Dane's name flash on the screen, but it didn't. For her, four days feels like eternity. Pakiramdam niya bumagal ang takbo ng oras. She didn't hear from him for four straight daysm quite contrary to what he said to her before he left... the he will stick with her for some more days.

She didn't feel like that with John at all. Never. Even before she haven't met Dane yet. Maybe before she's always waiting for John calls, yes but she was completely functional! Not like this that she cannot function at all without Dane around. It's always been six days when she recieved a call from John, and surprisingly, no effect at all. But why it is different with Dane? Why does she misses him every single minute of every hour of every day? And why does she worry that this could be the end of them?

Suddenly she felt a striking pain, a kind of pain that she couldn't describe in words. The thought of him leaving her, made her heart shattered into million pieces. He might have come to his senses! Why did he stay with her in the first place? She could have better looking, richer, and more confident women. Women who would be proud to be seen with him! Why did he stick with a girl who has very low self-esteem, who didn't want to be seen with him at all? Who was ashamed of his acquintance? He is Dane Ford! He doesn't need that crap!

But he still chose to stay with you. She reminded herself, more on convincing. 

Kath took a deep breath. She decided to take a bath before bed. She just lied there on her tub thinking. She didn't realize that tears were rolling down on her cheeks. She hated to admit but she misses him like hell.

She remembered every moment she was with Dane. She remembered each day she had smile on her face, going to work, quite confident with herself. She realized that for each and every minute since she met him, she was floating on air. Walking on cloud nine. She felt adored. Cherish. Something that every girl in a perfect relationship should felt. 

And Dane Ford gave all that perfect feelings to her or more.

Siguradong sigurado na siya sa sarili niya na hindi niya na mahal si John, kung 'yon ay minahal niya nga ito. It wasn't going anywhere. Hindi niya maramdaman kay John ang kung ano mang nararamdaman niya ngayon kay Dane. It's different. Very different. Dane brought out the best in her meanwhile John, did nothing, but always bringing out the worst in her. Maybe she was blinded by her mother's approval, her constant will to seek approval, na dumating sa puntong itinali at pinilit niyang mahalin at pahalagahan ang isang tao kahit alam niya sa sarili niyang hindi niya talaga alam kung ano ang pakiramdam ng magmahal dahil hindi iyon naibigay ng sarili niyang mga magulang.

And now... she realized that she can't be in love with John, especially not now... when she's already fallen in love with someone else.

She changed into her pajamas and went to bed. Before she turned off the lights, she took her cellphone and sent Dane an SMS, before she could stop herself.

Her: Hey... I hope you're doing well there... Take care. Missing you and wishing you were here.
