Liberté

Translation: Freedom

As soon as they landed, Kath ran quickly, spread her arms widely and met the cold atmosphere of Alaska. She couldn't help but smile because she was liking the feeling that she was breathing the fresh air of the county that she was been dreaming of visiting when she was still in High School.

"Seeing you now, I'm glad you like it." She head a soft voice saying behind.

She quickly wrapped her arms around his neck. "Thank you so much!" She said, giggling.

"Ready for shopping, love?" Tanong nito nang matapos silang dalawa sa pagyayakapan.

"Had six hours of good sleep so I can say that I am beyond ready!" She replied cheerfully.

They were taken into a local mall by a limousine. Kath turned on her phone, and when she did, it kept on ringing, indicating text messages and voice mails.

Miles: Trying your phone. It's off. Where are you?

Miles: Called your office and they said you didn't show up. Give me a call when you read this.

Ej: Hey, where are you? Let's go shopping!

Miles: Gosh! Damn it Kathlyn Manuel. Trying to call you for twenty fucking times. Saan ka ba nagsu-suot?

She sent them a text message saying that she had to fly in Nueva Ecija to see her parents. Hopefully, they will not ask her to elaborate. Bumibisita naman talaga siya paminsan-minsan eh.

When they were in the mall, in a broad daylight, Dane pulled her closer to him. His arm on her shoulders, and she felt a kiss at the top of her head.

She can't contain her happiness. Dane Ford sure knows how to make a girl swoon! Iilan lamang to sa mga bagay na hindi nila nagagawa sa Pilipinas.

Holding hands while walking, ika nga.

Kath started shopping. She got herself some sweaters, pants, underwear, gloves, and thick coats. Just enough for the next three days. When she brought her stuff to the counter, Dane was quick to hand in his credit card.

She glared at him. "No, Dane. It's my stuff." She protested.
