I am SO sorry I haven't been writing! Everything has been so crazy lately between making my portfolio for advanced art class to homework to writing as many chapters as possible on my newest story called Deal. (It's a Bill Cipher x Reader lemon and fluff fanfic if you wanna check it out.) Thank you to everyone still reading and I hope you enjoy the chapter!

"You're getting so big!" Sam gushed as Bobby sat on the couch next to him. Gabriel laughed. "You sound like a sentimental old grandma moose," he said and Sam gave him a bitchface. Gabe snapped then reappeared on Sam's lap. The hunter blushed and shoved him off, but the archangel just waggled his eyebrows and cuddled up against him. Sam rolled his eyes but extended a hand a patted the space on the other side of him. "Come on Luci!"

Luci came over from leaning against the wall and happily sat with his family. The doorbell rang not even seconds after he sat. "I'll get it!" Dean yelled from the other room and went to the door, paying the pizza guy and bringing three steaming cardboard boxes over. "Oh my God yes," Mary said and they put in the movie and began eating.

They had been having "family nights" a lot recently, most nights having to do with a film or pizza or most of the time both.

Luci was enjoying the film, sitting by his best friend and brother Bobby, until he brought a slice of pizza up to his mouth. Pizza. It looked gross and unsatisfying. Luci grimaced and tried to act casual. He had to eat it, he didn't want to worry his dads. You know what would be better Luci? A voice asked. It was in his head, it was talking to him. Like it had been for the past two years. Luci tried to keep calm. Don't listen to it, don't listen to it....

Luci, you know what would be DELICIOUS?!

Don't listen to it, don't listen to it....

Some demon blood, mmmmmmmmm.....

Luci slammed his hands on the table and shot upwards into a standing position, knocking the table with his knee as he stood. He didn't even react. Bobby was the first to speak after the uncomfortable silence that followed. "Luci, you okay man?"

"Yeah, yeah, fine," Luci mumbled. Mary stood too. "Luci, what's wrong? Tell me," Mary said seriously but Luci shrugged it off and told everyone he had to use the toilet. He rushed to the room and locked the door behind him, sitting on the closed toilet lid. He took deep breaths, his heart pounding. He had to stay strong. Nobody could know about this, they wouldn't understand. Not like his dad Sam had ever wanted demon blood. (Haha get it? Sorry, back to the story.) Luci sighed and ran a hand through his hair, stepping over to the mirror. He looked at himself, skinny and long-haired. Stay calm. Go out there and survive another day, okay? Don't listen to that stupid voice. He sat there a while longer, trying not to think of blood or family or even the fact that Lucifer told him he would kill his twin brother. He would never do that, never kill his best friend like that. His brother. Not possible.

He finally walked out, back into the living room, and sat forcefully down again. All eyes were on him. He picked up his pizza slice and didn't make eye contact. Once everyone's attention went back to the movie he forced the pizza down his throat, swallowing hard. Ughhh..... The dough felt sticky and disgusting in his dry throat.

Demon blood would hit the spot, huh?

No, shut up, Luci growled inwardly and chugged down a soda. It quenched his thirst, but only for a moment. He uncomfortably sat there, trying to look normal and pay attention to the film. This is my sorry-ass life.

He was so focused on looking normal he didn't notice Bobby staring at him from the other side of the couch. Something was wrong with Luci, he knew it. They told eachother everything, why wasn't Luci talking to him?
