Chapter 2: Let's Make A Hit Story!

3rd Person Point of View

"What did you just said Alessia?" Mr. Perez their team leader asked.

"Sir, let's make a hit story! A story that will satisfy the taste of our viewers! As you can see, nababa ang raitings natin dahil puro romcom ang pinalalabas natin."

"And anong story ang ini- rerecomend mo?"

Elsie leaned closer to their team leader. "Fantasy sir!"

"About what?" Mr. Perez said and then meet her eye.

"Uhm. About.... vampires. Yes, vampires! Isn't that cool?" She asked.

"Cool my foot. Fine! Just make sure na makaka abot yan ng 16 episodes man lang. And ang running time is 1 hr."

"Yes sir!" Elsie said happily.

"Ano na approve?" Kaagad na tanong ni Hazel, katrabaho nya.

"Syempre naman. Sinabi ko na kailangan natin ng ibang palabas para tumaas ang ratings natin, o edi pumayag." Natatawang sabi ni Elsie.

"Iba ka talaga." Naiiling na sabi ni Drake.

"Narinig mo ba ang chismis?" Kaagad na tanjng ni Hazel.

"Ano?" Sabay na tanong ni Drake at Elsie.

"Lapit lapit." Sabi ni Hazel and then she gestured them to come closer.

"Last week, nalaman natin na yung CEO natin may mga kapatid pala diba?"

"Oh eh ano namang issue ngayon?" Walang kagana ganang tanong ni Elsie.

"Yun daw isa magiging intern! Gosh sana kasing gwapo ng kapatid nya ang magiging intern dito!" Biglang sigaw ni Hazel.

"You're unbelievable! Saan mo naman nakalap ang chismis na yan?" Tanong ni Drake.

"Sa taas. Malapit sa office ng CEO! Guys mukhang totoo!" Sabi ni Hazel.

"Tsh, kaya hindi nakakagawa ng matinong story puro lalaki ang nasa isip." Naiiling iling na sabi ni Elsie at humarap na sa laptop nya.

"Hay nako Hazel, 'wag kang magpantasya sa mga taong hindi mapapa sayo. May mas malapit naman sayo bakit hindi nalang sya ang piliin mo?" Tanong ni Drake at naiiling ding umupo.

"Guys kapag yung chismis na yun nag katotoo 'wag kayong magugulat at 'wag nyo akong sisisihin." Sabi ni Hazel at bumalik na din sa ginagawa niya.

Habang nasa kalagitnaan ng pag iisip si Elsie, ay mas lalo siyang nahihirapan sa ginagawa niya.

She sighed heavily. "Ah, vampires vampires. May alam pa ba sa vampires? Hindi naman ako pwedeng mag simula hanggat wala akong alam dun." Reklamo ni Elsie.

"Bakit hindi ka mag search?" Suggestion ni Drake.

"I did that already. Pero ang nalabas is history ng vampires. What I like is their characteristics, how they eat, how do they mate, do they even sleep or what."

Kaagad naman siyang nilapitan ni Hazel and searched something on her laptop.

"There." She said and then nag pop up ang maraming articles about vampires.

"Wow! How did you know all of this?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Elsie.

"Let's just say na, na-obsess din ako sa mga vampires because believe it or not nakakita ako ng isa?" She said and then umupo.

"Tsh. Hazel sa lahat ng chismis mo, yan ang hindi kapanipaniwala." Sabi ni Drake at natawa naman si Hazel.

"I know." She said at nag trabaho na ulit.

But Elsie, she believes that vampires really do exist and she also met one.

"Vampires can go out even in daylight?!" Takang tanong ni Elsie.

"Uh yeah? Sabi nila kapag may lapiz lazuli daw? Pero dahil ibang century na tayo, sabi nila yun lang daw may dugong royal ang nakakagawa non."

"You know a lot huh. I might need your help." Elsie said and then smiled.

"Some vampires sleep when they feel to, because they don't need it. They are already strong and mentally stable. Unlike humans."

"How about bad vampires?"

"You mean the rogue one? They are not totally bad. They are just sort of cursed? Because they didn't get to control their hunger and power."

"Oh, but can it be possible na other vampires that are not rogue can be rouge or likewise?"

"Yes. If the good vampire in your own term drank the blood of a rogue, he/she will turn into a rogue. Well, rogues can also be a good vampire again."

"How?" Takang tanong ni Elsie.

"Rogues don't have feelings. They don't have conscience. They don't feel anything. Their heart don't beat. But, once that heart beat again, they will slowly turn into a vampire. The good one."

"I have a question. What is the color of their eyes?" This time si Drake naman ang nag tanong.

"Vampires red. Rogues Black." She said which made Elsie stunned.

"B-black?" She repeated it.

"Yeah. Why?"

"T-they.. kill person right?" She said while gulping.

"Uhm. Yes? Bakit ba?"

I'm doomed. 'Yan ngaykn ang nasa isip ni Elsie. She just realized that she encountered a vampire. And what makes it worse is that it is a rogue and not just a normal vampire. And now she is thankful na hindi siya sinaktan ng rogue na iyon at hinayaan siyang mabuhay.

"W-wala lang. Oh, alas dose na pala tara lunch na tayo?" Aya ni Elsie at pinatay muna ang laptop niya.

"Your treat?" Tanong ni Drake.

"No! May mga sweldo din kayo no." Sabi ni Elsie na parang gulat na gulat.

"Ayos ka lang ba? Ngayon mo lang kami hindi ililibre." Biglang tanjng ni Hazel.

"Oo naman. Umuna na kayo. Susunod ako."

"Sabi mo yan ha." Sabi ni Hazel at umalis na silang dalawa ni Drake.

"I just met a rogue vampire. How great." She said. But she's really confused about it. If she really did met a rogue vampire, why did he save her? A rogue doesn't have feelings. They don't even ave conscience. So why did a rogue saved her?

"I need to go back." Sabi ni Elsie and then nagmadali na siyang bumaba sa station at pinuntahan ang lugar kung saan nangyari ang aksidente.

"WHAT is she doing here?" A man wearing a black hoodie and a shades asked himself and then followed her.

"What the hell?! Why is she going back there?!" The man said at pinara ang taxi.

Kaagad naman itong tumigil at pinasakay agad ang lalaki.

"Manong may banggaan po dyang nangyari, wag na po tayo dyan dumaan." Sabi ng lalaki at umupo na ng ayos sa tabi ng babae.

"Ganon ba? Ay sya sige iho." Sabi ng manong at pinabalik ang sasakyan.

"Pero manong, doon po ako pupunta! Manong!" Sabi ng babae pero hindi siya pinakinggan ng driver.

"Kuya anong ginawa mo sa kanya?"

"You don't need to know what. Just, don't go near that place again. It will just trigger your memories. Manong dito na po ako." The guy said and the driver immediately stopped the taxi.

"Until we meet again my dear Elsie." The guy said and smiled at her.
