Mandy: How's it going over there?

Tyler: Yeah, update us sissy. Are there any handsome co-workers over there?

Mandy: Gosh.. Tyler.

Tyler: Hook me up to one, Tri. ;)

Mandy: Shut up, Tyler.

Tyler: Dean's calling you to his office,

Mandy: Pfft, tell us all the details Tri. I'll be back!

Me: Hi, Ty. Hi, Mands. Everything's good, though they have cool coffee machine here. It's definitely more high-tech.

Me: Oh, and there's a weird co-worker here. He asked me earlier what shampoo I was using..weird.

Tyler: Ew

Me: I know.

Tyler: So.. Anyone who you can hook me up to?

Me: Hmm, I haven't had a good look at the whole office. I'm on the second floor, my supervisor's taking me on a tour on the fourth floor later so let's see, haha.

Mandy: I'm baaaack.

Me: My supervisor's calling me. Byee.

Tyler: Boo-yaah!

Mandy: Bye, break a leg!

I closed my phone and put it down on my table. I stood up and got my blazer. I fixed myself before heading to my new supervisor's office as instructed.

Today was my third day as a new employee in this new branch. There were a lot of fresh faces here so this should be a good start. Plus, the amenities are really great. They had team buildings scheduled here and there. A lot of the employees looked like they were getting along well enough to be acquainted with each other. The atmosphere actually felt a lot like high school, minus the drugged brownies in parties, I guess.

The only thing that was not keeping me from missing the old office was the front desk clerk—who always looked like she had something stuck in her throat. She can't seem to give anyone a smile. But to think of it in a way, I think it would also be good so that I won't waste my time asking her if I received any letters. Any more that I know Matt is getting married now..

I decided to accept the offer after giving it some thought. I would really use some exploring myself. To be away from the city, a refresher in a sense. The supervisor here was quite indifferent towards me when I first introduced myself but after complaining about it to Dean, she somehow magically became very warming to me.

Not that I did it on purpose, it was just a tiring long day after she made me encode key accounts for the company and I'm not even an accountant to start with! She said it was so that I would gain experience and help if ever we were short on staff but I highly doubt that this company would be short on staff anytime soon. Sunfreight was like the second best Marketing Firm in the city, clients were always rolling in.

After high school, I decided to take up Marketing Management as a course. I was always so unsure of what my future would be back then but I probably took interest after learning much from...Matt.

He's always been so sure of what he wanted to be. He would always talk about how he wanted to be part of the world's most sought marketing minds. He would take interest even in the smallest of things that posed potentials. I remember how amused he was with the ice cream place he took me to in high school. "Ahh-momd", "Creameeoh" if I remember it correctly.
