At the moment, (Y/n) was currently being pampered with kisses from Vi as she tried to calm him down. The others definitely didn't like their display of affection but they understood why Vi needed to do that.

"I get it already." (Y/n) held Vi's face to stop her from kissing, it's not that he hated it, he did at the moment because it was working, he could feel his giddiness taking over his anger for his father. "I love you too." He chuckled as he kissed the tip of her nose.

While that was happening underneath the bar, the enforcers just entered the Last Drop, the same guys from earlier when they were at the hideout. Every customer in the bar just followed the men with their eyes, their hands nearing a weapon in case something does happen.

"What can I get you?" Vander asked as if he doesn't know why their here.

"Five sump-rats will do." The leader angered Vander with such a comment but Vander knew what he had to do, he reached his long fingers under counter, searching for something and keeping his head above to not raise suspicions. "Search the place." The leader orders the other enforcers.

"While you're wasting your time, how about a proper drink?" Vander asked after he thought of how he could look under the counter without giving the leader a reason to find him suspicious.

"I'll take the strongest shit you got."

Vander nodded his head and looked under table for a specific button and upon finding it he grabbed a bottle and used his index finger to press the button with a monkey face logo on.

That activated their home made security system which sent their Jolly Chimb into the room where the kids were.

Upon hearing the custom alarm, the kids hurriedly sprinted towards the ceiling's pipes to hide from the enforcer that entered the room just now.

The heavy wheezing of the full armor enforcer was loud enough to reach the ears of the teenagers, the noise alone was enough to make them a bit nervous about getting caught. The creaks of the stairs along with the enforcer's slow walk intimidated them. It didn't help (Y/n) was getting sweaty on his hands.

"Ah fuck." he muttered but it wasn't loud enough for the enforcer to hear him only the other kids currently hiding up with him.

At first they thought he was cussing because he was losing grip due to his sweaty hands but he looked fine but his eyes were transfixed in a certain direction.

They followed his gaze and saw the blue haired teen losing her grip on the pipe she had.

"Mm. You be careful with that." They heard Vander's voice through the cracks of the ceiling but they still focused their attention on Powder, all of the older ones along with Ekko thinking on how to help her.

"Nearly forgot. I ran into an old friend of yours. He had some stories." The leader chuckled as he took Vander's smoke pipe causing Vander to slam his hands on the table and those who still followed his word and was still loyal towards him, stood up for a fight but Vander brushed them off with a shake of his head.

"You weren't always the peacekeeper, were you?" The leader drops Vander's pipe into the glass of alcohol causing it to lit a little blue flame.

"Yeah, well, you can't escape the past. Right? Be a shame if I had to put them on again." Vander switched his gaze from the leader to his cast iron gauntlets hanging from a pipe. "Cast iron's, well, it's hard to clean."

"ah fuck." (Y/n) muttered again as he took a deep breath, he needed to be quick if he was going through with his plan to get Powder not to fall but luckily speed is his strong point.
