Night at Midtown New York

A few men in trench coats are moving crates to a loading dock, from a boat. One turns to another.

"We have to hurry," One of them says, "Boss has a new enforcer, and if we don't finish loading up, it will be our heads."

"I heard he's from the Motherland," the second one said.

"Shut up we're going to get caught," a third said waving a Submachine gun around.

"Don't worry, Oscorp will provide us lawyers if we're caugt," a fourth one said.

Peter Parker was an ordinary teenage boy, well an ordinary nerd. Normal height, a little gawky, messy brown hair and brown eyes behind thin glasses. At the moment he was at the moment, stuck in a locker. Yep, Flash Thompson stuffed him into a locker once again. If he didn't hustle than he would miss the bus to make it to the Science Museum, and he cannot afford to miss out on the trip. Not only did he himself want to make it to the museum, but it was a large part of the grade. Suddenly the door opens and Peter stumbles out of the locker.

"Not this again," Peter groaned as he falls into the arms of his best friend Harry Osborne.

"Again," Harry asks slightly amused but angry at the situation Peter was in.

"Yep," Peter said as he walks with Harry, "I know I should do more, but what are you going to do. Flash is built like a Rhinoceros?"

"True," Harry said before looking at his fancy silver watch, "We're going to be late."

Harry and Peter jog into the halls, and out the doors of Midtown High School. Outside Gwen is patiently waiting for them, and waves.

"I worried you guys weren't coming," Gwen said with a nervous smile.

"Sorry got shoved in a locker,' Peter explained sheepishly, "You know the deal with Flash Thompson. Kinda like a daily ritual, you know."

"Pete...you shouldn't let him do that to you," Gwen said as the trio boarded the bus. Peter sits down by the window, as Gwen sits by him, Harry sits in the empy seat next to them and hangs his feet over the next seat.

"I know, but what you're going to do," Peter asked, "I can't fight him, I'll be like the pretzels Harry always has for lunch."

"I know, but I hate how you're treated Peter," Gwen said with a reassuring smile.

"Can we drop the topic," Peter asked Gwen who reluctantly nods.

"Harry get your feet down," the voice of Mary Jane Watson said from the seat in front of Harry's.

Harry Osborne chuckles awkwardly and said, "Sorry MJ, just stretching your legs."

Peter checks out, so he does not hear what MJ had to say.  He looks as the bus moves away from the school, eventually raising his hand for attendance, for the teacher Mr. Lee. Peter looks at Gwen who is reading a book as the bus moves slowly towards the museum. Peter has had a crush on Gwen for like ever. Who wouldn't, her short blonde hair and glasses compliments her blue eyes. And it's not just that but Gwen is really smart, confident, sweet, and wants the best for him and Harry, and often plays the voice of reason.

The bus eventually arrives as Peter walks out towards the Science Museum of Natural History. But as he walks out, Flash sticks his leg out so that Peter trips, falling roughly, barely catching himself with his hands. Harry rushes to help Peter out.

"Flash, how immature," Gwen snapped, "Grow up Flash Thompson. If you don't take school seriously, then after High School the party will end for you."

"Whatever," Flash said rolling his eyes before jeering as he walks away, "A girls standing up for Loser Parker!"
