Today was finally the day: Emma was officially in the clear. It felt like it'd been forever since they had proper sex. And though Stevie had been pleasured many times over these last couple of weeks, she still took pleasure in making Emma feel good; it almost got her off more hearing her come.
Stevie put a ton of thought into today; she wanted it to be special. She'd take Emma to dinner at this new, swanky restaurant – make them both dress up, and then totally ravish her like she deserved the rest of the night.
She woke up around 2pm, her usual time, to an empty bed. Emma was usually up earlier in the morning, which wasn't terrible since she had a job to do anyway...and Stevie was forgetting that more often as the days passed.
After taking a shower and doing her morning skincare, she walked downstairs, greeted by Sulamith at the bottom of the stairs. She could hear Emma rustling around in the kitchen, likely putting lunch together.
She walked up behind her and wrapped her arms around her tiny waist, nuzzling her face in the crook of her neck, "Good morning, sweetheart." Stevie whispered into her ear.
Emma jumped, startled by the greeting since she hadn't heard Stevie come downstairs. "Oh my god!" She turned around laughing, pulling Stevie's face up to hers. "Morning? Babe, that was 4 hours ago..." Emma chuckled, kissing Stevie's soft, pouty lips.
"Well it's morning for me...and it's my house, my schedule!"
"Well aren't you a little gaslighter this morning?" Emma smirked, pulling her in closer to her now. Stevie laughed and pecked her lips in return, looking deep into her blue eyes as she pushed back the hair from Emma's face behind her ear.
"You're so beautiful." Stevie marveled. Emma rolled her eyes, trying not to take the compliment, even though she secretly loved it – and Stevie totally knew it, too.
"Well, I went out and got a big salad for lunch if you want any..." Emma offered. Stevie looked over Emma's shoulder at the counter.
"Looks great, thank you, baby." Stevie kissed her cheek and grabbed them bowls from the cabinet. "Also, make sure you're ready to leave by 9. We have a 9:30 reservation at that new place near the Pier." Stevie said nonchalantly as they both sat down at the table.
"Stevie...that place is insane, are you crazy?" Emma gasped. It was notoriously pricey, but since when was money an issue for Stevie Nicks?
"Shut up, we're going. Wear something nice." Stevie shooed her.
Emma looked at her surreptitiously, "Stevie, I don't have anything nice enough for that place...all I have is one clubbier dress and then what I wore on tour."
"Okay, so you'll borrow something from the vault." Stevie reasoned. Emma's eyes went wide. The vault?! She thought. That's all her vintage shit! I can't possibly...
"Stevie, I couldn't –"
"Em, stop. Nonsense! My niece and my goddaughters borrow stuff all the time. It's nothing! I have a long, white chiffon dress from my 'I'm not a witch' days that would look absolutely darling on you."
Emma smiled at her, grateful that Stevie was so generous about everything. She'd never met such a gracious woman, especially someone who had all the money in the world, everything she could ever want. It was so attractive, as well as inspiring.
