next year, new problems

good morning,
well it's morning for me, it could just be night.
i reread what i wrote about for the last chapter and there's been... some serious updates since then.
october, nothing significant :: oh shoot, i posted and forgot something important,, not like it would matter to anyone, my countdown, the one from late 2019, is over . i'm free
november, homecoming. i asked around and got responses to no one's surprise, rejections. here's the funny part tho,, instead of going to my cousins wedding in miami, i ended up staying and going to my homecoming anyways. was it a mistake? my homecoming ended about an hour and a half into it because of widespread panic of a rumor a kid had a gun, so naturally we all vanished. the school covered it up and it was this whole thing. they also refuse to refund us so that's cool.
december, well it's my birth month, spider-man NWH came out and as part of my birthday, a large chunk of family came and we all saw it on release night. it was freakin great. almost christmas time and i get a text from my cousin.. they're in stock... i drove as fast as i could all *legally* of course and i went to the middle of nowhere and bought a PS5 just a few days before christmas. christmas,, i don't want to sound greedy or ungreatful, but being honest i actually didn't get much. tbf i didn't put out a list or anything and we have been buying lots of new things so ig it makes sense.

it's january, only a couple more months and i'll be out of high school, thank the lord. my friend in illinois, shout out to her, told me about this app where she finds friends, so i figured if she's got good luck on there, why not. i got it, for three whole weeks, i was bombarded with the most ridiculous messages and nothing came of it... i might be on to a lead now tho 🙃🤫
