Percy was not in good situation, he started to get his memory back , courtesy of a bet with his brother the former king of Salmydessus in Thrace ,an old seer the very same one who of course helped the Argonauts in their journey.
Percy still could remember all those years ago in the third quest of his life, Lady Artemis saying about the great stirring having started. Yes apart from remembering the girl he loved with blond princess curls , Annabeth , Percy could only remember the parts of conversations with Artemis,the goddess of hunt,moon and many other things.
At first Percy was shocked, sure Annabeth was his girlfriend but maybe the gods decided to interfere with his life more than usual, but still he couldn't make sense why a maiden godess none other than Artemis who despise men population with pleasure as well as her followers would be important to him.
Next Percy after winning the wargame confronted Mars whom he could remember hating specially in Greek aspect. After Ares's disappearance Percy feared Artemis or better known as Lady Dianna would arrive at Roman camp and would curse him or worse turn him into some fluffy animal for doing some bad works in his life before his memory was stolen.
Percy hated Octavian with passion. They were sure traveling in Pax the boat. His days got weirder when he saw his new friend Frank could control a undead soldier, a spartus named Gray. Only he was confused and angry when Frank accidentally broke the statue of Neptune fountains in ROFL, Percy's sickness increased, as it started when he examined evil Cyclops, evil horned centaurs that all seemed to feel wrong. When they left Iris's shop probably the rainbow godess wanted to do some help with the organic junky but Percy was feeling well after their treatment thank you very much. For sure they met the seer who was working and was alive for the evil Earth mother. Percy knew how the pawn system worked. Sure he would not betray his Roman friends and possibly his other friends, Annabeth in helping Gaea in her cause but he was sure that his role for Gaea was important than the old seer.
Percy was sorry for Ella the book-smart harpy, the creature reminded him of Annabeth. And Boom! as expected Percy lived after the bet while the evil seer died, and Percy got his memory back slowly but surely. In his journey they had night's sleep in a bed in Frank's grandmother's house after tolerating the cussing annoying horse-brother Arion whom Poseidon bore when Lady Demeter or better in Roman Ceres disguised herself as a mare and Poseidon pursued her as a horse.
