Jazmín stood at the bottom of a set of stairs. Her head tilted up as she stared at a glowing door, reading the words that shined on it: Bruno.

Originally, she had been playing hide and seek with her two favorite Madrigals. Camilo was now the one to find you two since Mirabel found him last. Jaz wasn't as good at the hiding part despite what they told her, but she was having fun. So, she asked Casita for help to find a good hiding place.

The next she knew; the tiles had not-so-gracefully glided her here. At first, she hadn't noticed the door. She just tried to look around, trying to figure out why Casita choose here. Then she saw the stairs and her gaze soon raised to land on the door.

She gasped softly as she felt the tiles under her feet rise and fall, urging her that it was safe. Her eyes looking down to watch the tiles dance around her. With a small nod, she climbed the stairs and knocked softly on the door.

Her head tilted as she heard murmuring coming from the other side. She defiantly didn't recognize the voice.

Her head quickly shot up at the sound of a lock turning. She took a step back and watched as the door slowly opened. Before long, her eyes were met with green. Though they hadn't noticed her yet since the man above her looked around. He was about to close the door when his eyes lowered, his movements halting.

The two shared a look. Jazmín held her hands together behind her back, her bangs falling over her crystal eye. She never broke the older man's gaze, thinking how they looked just like Camilo and Pepa's eyes. As she continued to stare at him, not realizing how uncomfortable he was when she did, she remembered the pictures of the kids hanging in the halls. They were of all the Madrigals standing in front of their doors. So, that means... "...You're Milo's Tío Bruno?" she asked softly.

Her soft voice caught the man off guard. For one, few children come up to his door and knock. His black curls fell over his face slightly as nodded slightly, stuttering over his words, "Uh. Um I-I am... Who-Who ar--"

"Jazmín."

His head snapped back when she interrupted him. Though her voice had stayed small, he hadn't expected that the girl he's heard his sisters speak so much about. From how they talked, she kept to herself while quietly following their kids around. There wasn't a moment that she as away from the two Madrigals.

The young girl opened her mouth to speak but quickly closed it as a rat popped up from his shoulder. He had expected her to scream and run away, something he learned from Mirabel a year ago. Instead, she took a step forward and held her hand out to it. And to his surprise, his little rat friend happily jumped on it. He ran down her arm towards her shoulder, sniffing her cheek.

"Oh Jaz. I thought I heard you two talking."

The sound of Dolores' voice caused the small girl's head to turn in surprise. This caused her bangs to move, revealing her crystal eye. Her breath started coming out frosty as she wondered if she had done something wrong. But the smile the older girl gave her quickly put her worries at easy.

"Aren't you playing with Mira and Cami?"

"Hide and seek."

"But you're not hiding..."

Jazmín looked up at Bruno who raised an eyebrow at him. His rat friend had perched itself on her shoulder, nudging her cheek gently. "Asked Casita to help hide."

"Ah," Dolores muttered, giggling softly. "So, it brought you to Bruno's door."

"I feel offended," Bruno muttered, his shoulders slumping. "By a house."

Jaz's eyes lowered as the tiles in front of her did a wave and wiggled some.

Dolores' head tilted slightly as she let out a small 'hm'. This caught Jazmín's attention, turning slightly to look at her. Normally when she heard the familiar squeak from the girl, which meant she had heard something. "It seems like mi Hermano y prima are looking for you in the garden~," she said, softly, giving her a smile.
