Chapter 23

It had been 4 days since Sunoo left Heejin. Heejin started to feel that Sunoo will leave her forever....

What if he forgot about me?

What if he will never came back?

Heejin stared at the floor with a straight face. All the negative thoughts are playing in her mind. She tried to fade away her thoughts but she couldn't. She somehow missed Sunoo so much.

"He must had forgot about me.....", Heejin  said to herself as a tear fell off her cheek. She immediately wipes it when she hears the door swung opens.

"Oh Heejin, you're here early...", Mr. Park came with a suitcase on his hand. He placed the suitcase on the table and walk towards Heejin who's staring at him blankly.

"Are you okay?", he questioned.

"What? Why are you asking? I'm perfectly fine....", she lied and chuckled.

"Well, you looked a bit moody earlier", he said and put his hands on his pockets.

"Nah, I'm just waiting for you....well Jiyeong told me that there's a meeting on 10 o'clock", Heejin stood up.

"Okay Thank you", Mr. Park nods and walk towards his seat.

Heejin just stare at him while he's doing his work. Admiring every inch of his features. To be honest to herself....Mr. Park is the most charming and nicest person she ever met. He looks like a real life jack frost.

Heejin realised that she stared at him for too long and decided to break it. She sighed and shook her head.

Suddenly there's a knock on the door caused Heejin and Mr. Park look at each other before looking towards the door. The door opens revealing a tall woman wearing a baby blue blouse with flower patterns on it.

"Hi Sunghoon", she smiled and walk towards Sunghoon.

"Oh Siwoo, what brings you here?", Sunghoon smiled and walk towards her for a hug.

"I brought you grilled pork belly, your favourite~~", she wiggles as Sunghoon excitedly took the plastic bag.

"Thank you so much Siwoo!", Sunghoon held her shoulder.

Heejin just stared at them blankly.

Who is she?

His girlfriend?

It is?

"Ah Heejin", Sunghoon spoke as Heejin snapped out from her thoughts and stand up from her seat.

"Yes Mr. Park"

"This is Siwoo, my neighbour, and Siwoo, this is Heejin, my secretary", Sunghoon introduced both of them.

"Hi...", Heejin shyly bowed.

Siwoo gave her a soft smile.

"You're pretty", Siwoo said.

"W-what?", Heejin stuttered.

"You're pretty....like really....right Sunghoon?", she said while shaking Sunghoon's shoulder.

"W-what? Yeah Heejin is really pretty....", Sunghoon said as Heejin looked down and blushed.

"You guys must have work to do, I'll get going now, see you guys later! Enjoy your food Hoonie!", she waved and walk towards the door. She walk so gorgeously, like a model.

Hoonie?

Is that Mr. Park's nickname?

"She's such a nice girl....", Heejin spoke as Sunghoon looks at her and smiled.

"She really is....", Sunghoon said and went back towards his seat.

Meanwhile...

"Are you feeling a lot better now appa?", Sunmi, the second child of the Kim's family asked while touching his forehead.

"Yes....all thanks to Sunoo.....", King Kim answered and turned his head towards Sunoo who's searching for clothes for his dad to wear.

"Here appa", Sunoo smiled and gave him a white shirt.

"Yah Sunoo-ah, I forgot....how's your feeling after appa took back the curse?", Sunmi said excitedly and hugged Sunoo.

Sunoo's expression changed. He was shocked.

"What? Why you look unhappy?", Sunmi released the hug and look at her brother's sad face.

"Appa, did you took back the curse already?"

"Yes Sunoo....I trust you....you are now free my son", his father smiled but Sunoo's expression didn't change.

"Sunoo....is there any problem? Aren't you supposed to be happy with it?", Sunmi asked.

Sunoo kept silence.

"Sunoo....?", his father questioned.

"Appa.....I.......I actually love being like that.....", Sunoo said as King Kim and Sunmi gasped.

"Why?"

"I enjoyed my life being some kind of 'genie' there.....I love to stay here....but there's someone waiting for me on the other dimension.....", Sunoo explained.

"Who? Who's waiting for you?", King Kim asked.

"My previous wisher.....her name is Heejin...and she still have 10 wishes left....."

"Oh....so....do you want to get the curse back and finish all of her wish?", King Kim asked as Sunoo nods.

"Well.....tell me...is she important to you?"

Sunmi just stare at them, hearing their conversation.

"Yes"

"Why?"

"I promised that I will make her happy....."
