"Where is she?", Sunoo mumbles while looking at the clock. It's already 9:23 p.m.
Is she still working? Does she have a night shift? Or is she in trouble?!
No....no Sunoo you're overthinking....
Should I just teleport to her?
No maybe she's in the middle of a meeting right now....it's illegal to do that...
"I'll just wait for her to come...", he said to himself and sat on the floor. He doesn't want to mess the balloons on the bed.
He waited there few minutes until the door swung opens. His face brightens up and look towards the door.
"Happy birth—grandma?", he frowned.
"Oh sorry....Heejin hasn't come home yet?", she asked as Sunoo looks down.
"Yea....", he sat back on the floor and sighed.
"You should call her"
"I don't have a phone...."
"Oh...I'll call her", grandma said and walks away as Sunoo nods and look down the floor.
"I hope she will come back ...."
Heejin pov
"Just order anything you want", Mr. Park said while looking at the menu.
"Ah....this is so expensive....isn't it Jiyeong....Suho?", she chuckled embarrassingly.
"Nah....this is cheap for Mr. Park you know. We love it when Mr. Park invite us for dinner, he will treat us expensive food yum....", Suho said and caresses his belly.
"Yeah Suho's right! Come on Heejin don't wanna worry if it's expensive....we have our sugar dad—", before he could finish his words, Mr. Park slapped his arms.
"Yah, shut up and decide what to order", Mr. Park rolls his eyes.
"Thank you...Mr. Park for inviting me....", Heejin shyly smile at him.
"Your welcome....Heejin you don't have to call me Mr. Park when we're not at work, just call me Sunghoon since we're childhood best friends!" He replied and pats Heejin's back.
"Oh okay...."
"What about us? Can we call you Sunghoon? We're your friends right!", Jiyeong said happily.
"Aish this guy....shut up and get ready to order...", Sunghoon glares at Jiyeong as he gulped.
Jiyeong and Suho looks down and pouted.
Heejin laughs at their childishness.
"Waiter!", Sunghoon raise his hand.
"Yes, what would you like to order?", a tall guy wearing a red apron with a suit came with a sweet smile on his face.
"Ah....what's special here?", Sunghoon asked.
"Hm....the most popular dish here is Korean barbecue set....it's enough for 2-5 people...", the waiter replied.
"Okay, we'll take that...do you want anything else Heejin?", Sunghoon asked as Heejin looks up frowning.
"M-Me...?"
"Yes....birthday girl...just tell me what you want...", he gave her the softest smile ever making her heart softens.
"U-um....kimchi stew...?"
"Add one kimchi stew", he quickly said to the waiter.
"Is that all?", the waiter asked them and Sunghoon nods as response.
The waiter walks away. It was an awkward silence until Sunghoon spoke.
"So...do you like kimchi stew?", he asked.
"H-huh? Y-yeah I haven't ate it for a long time....", she looks down...didn't dare to look into his eyes.
Why am I being shy in front of him?

"Oh did I make you uncomfortable? I'm sorry Heejin....", Sunghoon spoke again after earning no eye contact from her.
"Ah no....it's just I looked kinda embarrassing here....", she looks up and make an eye contact with Sunghoon before looking away.
"I understand...it's your first time hanging out with friends right? I remembered that you once told me that your parents are strict....", he chuckled.
Heejin just laughed nervously.
Why am I feeling so nervous around him?
I'm not used to be like this when he's around....
Timeskip....
"Ah....the food is delicious....", Suho said while caressing his stomach.
"Thank you Sunghoon....", Heejin said.
"No problem birthday girl...Oh! I have something to give you", he takes out something from his blazer's pocket.
It's a black box with a red ribbon on it. Sunghoon smiled and gave it to Heejin while she's looking at him confused.
"For me?"
"Yeah, it's a gift. Actually, I kept this for a long time, I planned to give it you before I move away but I couldn't. I kept this when I was 16 so that means it had been 4 years...."
"I've finally found you and decided to give it to you today!"
Heejin heart melts...
He kept this for 4 years just for me?
This is the first time...someone really cares about me....
He is the first one who planned on celebrating my birthday....
Heejin looks at the box and opens it. It's a necklace. The necklace had 'H' letter on it which is the first letter of her name.
"Wah....it's so pretty....", Heejin takes it out.
"Try it on", Sunghoon stands up and walk towards her. He takes the necklace and pulls her hair to the side.
"Can I take off your necklace first?", he asked.
"Oh okay...", Heejin nods and Sunghoon takes off her necklace. Heejin puts the moon necklace on her pocket.
"Wah! So pretty! Daebak!", Suho claps his hands right after she wears the new necklace.
"Thank you Sunghoon....I can't even tell how much I ap—", her sentence got cut when her phone rang.
"Take your time...", Sunghoon said.
She checks the caller ID and it's grandma.
"I'll be right back", she bowed and walk outside. She accepts the phone call and brings the phone to her ears.
*on the phone*
Me: Hello grandma?
Grandma: Hello Heejin, where are you?
Me: Oh, sorry I didn't tell you....I'm having dinner with my friends, they treat me delicious food for my birthday!
She excitedly said.
Grandma: Oh....
Me: *frown* Why do you sound so sad grandma?
Grandma: Your friend...
Me: My friend? Who? Sunoo? What's wrong with him?
Grandma: He....already set up a birthday surprise in your room for your birthday....but you didn't came....
Me: WHAT?!
