My heart softens when he said that....

Poor child...

I was about to say something until someone pats my back making me flinch a little bit. I turned around and saw Sunoo.

"What?", I questioned.

"Who are they?", Sunoo asked and bend his knees. The girl started to stare at him and his hair. She told the boy something.

"Noona, is he your boyfriend?", the boy asked as my eyes widens.

"Ah...No no, he's my friend", I gave them a soft smile. The girl kept staring at Sunoo's purple hair. (His hair on scylla ver) I kinda have a feeling that she wants to touch his hair so bad.

I pushed Sunoo's shoulder gently and whispered.

"I think she wants to touch your hair..."

"What?", Sunoo confusedly said and looks at the girl. It took a few seconds before he leans his head closer to her.

She began to touch his hair softly. A smile formed on her lips as she looks at her brother.

"Her favourite colour is purple", the boy spoke.

Sunoo and I look at each other before looking away. We're both speechless.

"What's her name?", I asked.

"Naeun, she's 10", the boy replied.

"Naeun, I hope you'll get better soon, I know you will....", I said.

The girl smiled and opens her arms for a hug. My eyes softens as I hug her tightly. The embrace felt different....this feels like the kind of hug I've ever wanted....

"Heejin!", a sound of grandma calling my name.

"Ah....I have to go now, it's nice meeting you all, see you soon Naeun", I stood up and waved at her before coming towards grandma.

"Are you done?", I asked her.

"Yes, let's go home now", grandma said as we went towards the bus stop.

Meanwhile...

Author's pov

"Aigoo my back! Appa are you sure he's here?", she rubbed her back after got hit by a trash bin.

"Yes I guess. But I'm sure he's here, but why is he here? Did he got sick or what?", he replied and cleans himself up.

"This dimension is completely different....everything looks so simple, not like in our dimension. We have flying jaguar but here they just have a flying chicken", she said and wore her glasses.

"That's a bird....", he said as it was an awkward silence between them.

"Whatever, let's just go", he said and walk out from the alley. There's so many people there.

"Too many people....how are we going to find him?", she sighed and felt like giving up.

"Oh there he is!", he squealed as he saw him getting inside a bus.

"Let's go, hurry!", she said as they run towards the bus.

The bus door closed as it began to move.

They ran as fast as they can to chase the bus. They look at the window to search for the guy they're searching for. All the peoples on the bus looks at them confused. Then they saw the guy and began to wave their hands to gain his attention.

"Sunoo it's appa!"

Meanwhile....

Sunoo, Heejin and her grandma got inside the bus. It's quite a relief when they'll be able to take a rest. Sunoo laid his head on the window and closed his eyes.

The bus began to drove off. Sunoo opens his eyes and look at the person besides him. Heejin was scrolling on her phone so as grandma. Sunoo was about to close his eyes back until he saw someone running and waving at him.

"Sunoo it's appa!", a grown man squealed as Sunoo's eyes widens.

"Appa?"

"Stop the bus!"

Sunoo screamed as the driver stops the bus. Heejin was shocked to see him running outside. She had no idea what's happening. She thought that she might have to follow him.

"Grandma, get home safely, I want to see what's up to him", she patted her grandma's shoulder as she nodded as response.

Heejin ran outside and searched for Sunoo. The bus began to drive away as she saw Sunoo talking to a man . There's also a young woman besides him. Heejin was so confused.

Do they know each other?

Sunoo and the man looks like they're arguing. Sunoo turns around and saw her standing, having no idea what's happening. Heejin saw him looking at her so she walk towards them.

"Who are they", Heejin asked as Sunoo hides them behind his back making her confused.

"N-No one—"

"Hi! I'm Sunmi! You must be the girl he talked about!", Sunmi said and held Heejin's shoulder.

Heejin confusedly forms a smile.

"Yah, Sunmi get away from her", Sunoo pulled her away from me.

"Why? I was just trying to make new friend, she's pretty though", Sunmi whined.

Heejin eyes lands on the man who staring at her. She smiled shyly and bowed.

"Aish....why did you guys come here?", Sunoo brush his hair back.

"We just want to pay you a visit"

Okay so I just want to let you know since I changed my book cover. Sunoo's hair supposed to be pink but I changed it to purple, if there's a chapter I accidentally wrote Sunoo's hair is pink please lmk <3
