Danny was looking through articles after articles about Haley's Circus. Pain filled his heart and stomach, making him feel sick.

The first article that he had found was about the death of the Flying Greyson parents. How they fell and how it was an accident. He looked at the medical records, at whatever he could find about them! Almost all of them were about his parents' past and how horrible or great they once were.

Then there were the other articles. They talked about robberies that were following the Circus and how Interpol was investigating them. Of course, he had also found articles on his brother. The brother that saw it all, that knew it all. The brother he had abandon, was adopted by Bruce Wayne. Bruce fucking Wayne, a billionaire with his hands in almost everything!

Suddenly, Danny lurched from his seat and ran to the bathroom in the hallway. Closing and locking the door, he threw up. His lunch and breakfast mixing into a disgusting, foul smelling mess in the toilet. Yet, he wasn't focused on that. All he could be focused on was the fact that he was lied to.

He gritted his teeth as he ran through the last ten years. He should've known something was wrong when Maddie told him he could stay. He should've known after they just randomly moved to a no name town. They-They changed his name! They made... They made him a Fenton!

Suddenly, he threw up again, tears slipping down his face. Shakily, he pulled himself up when he was done. He quickly flushed the vomit before going to the sink and cleaning out his mouth and rubbing his face with some cool water. The coolness soothed his nerves, but just barely.

Slowly, he moved from the bathroom to his room, where the articles were waiting for him. He winced as he saw it. Looking down at the desk, he noticed the old-style phone. His eyes widen some before he lunched toward it.

Taking a deep breath, he hurriedly pressed for Jazz's number. Maybe they were trying to protect him in some way! Protect him from whoever had hurt his parents! But Jazz would know about it! They wouldn't have done all this without telling her! She was always good with things like that, even before she started to actively study it! Honestly, it was a wonder the two of them even grew up somewhat normal considering how they were raised.

The phone rang a few times before it was finally answered.

"Hey, Danny, is something wrong?" The orange-haired woman sounded distracted, the faint noise of papers ruffling through the shotty speaker.

"J-Jazz..." The teen winced at the sound of his voice. It was clear he was upset, but he didn't want to worry her...

"Danny, what's wrong?" Her voice was now firm, completely focused on him.

"I... My parents... They're... They're dead." He squeezed his eyes closed, the grip on his phone tightening. She wouldn't understand this way. She'd be worried about Jack and Maddie. "M-Momma and Pa-Papa are de-dead..." A quiet sob fell from his lips as he uttered the once unknown fact. His body trembled as he desperately tried to stay standing.

The other line went quiet, the sound of hurried typing being the only noise. Then he heard the sharp intake of a gasp.

"D-Danny... I... I didn't know..." Her voice became quieter, horror easily being heard through every word.

He grimaced, falling to his knees. She didn't know.

"Why... Why didn't they..." He needed her to say something reassuring, to say anything that would explain what was happening!

"I... I don't know... Keeping this from you, keeping you from the funeral, from Dickie..." Her tone shifted from horror to anger. "They had no right to do this. They had no right to take you the way they did!" Her anger grave him some strength, but it wasn't enough for him to get off the floor. "Danny," her tone was gentle again, "talk with them. Ask them if you can visit Auntie, and if they don't come clean themselves. Make them."

Danny sniffled a little, wiping his eyes. He didn't like the thought of testing the two strange scientists, but... They had kept this from him, kept him from their funeral. He deserved to know, and they deserved to come clean. They had at least been taking care of him for nearly a decade after all.

So, he waited, sitting at the kitchen table for them. He wasn't sure what they were doing, but he was sure it involved ghosts. When they did show up, they were messy, but they were moving toward the basement. They didn't even notice Danny! It had been like that for a while though... Sadly.

"Mo-Maddie?" The teen called out to the pair. He cringed a little as he saw that he was about to her Mom. He shouldn't call her that. Not till she comes clean on her, their own. The pair of scientists looked toward him, confusion on their faces. "I want to go see my parents."

The pair tensed at the demand. The look on his face made it seem like he was sick.

"Danny, Sweetie, are you okay?" The auburn-haired woman moved toward the young boy. "You know they're busy." She hummed as she cupped his face.

"I haven't heard from them in years, M-Maddie." He hissed softly, pulling away from the woman.

"They're just... Really busy... O-Or they forgot." Jack tried to intervene moving toward the boy.

His face scrunched up, tears welling in his eyes. They... They weren't trying to tell him. They wanted to keep him in the dark! To keep lying to him!

"Stop it..." He mumbled, pulling himself away from them. They looked confused, and this enraged him. "Just stop lying! I know they're dead! I talked with Haley! Why are you lying!" He screamed, tears running down his face. He then grunted, shaking his head.

He felt sick again, but this time it was from them. They had been lying to him for years! They probably were hoping he'd forget about his real parents! How cruel of them!

With a burst of energy, he ran pass them and to his room. His door was closed and locked before they could stop him.

Their thundering footsteps sounded in his ears, but he completely ignored it. All he could think about was leaving. Grabbing what he could and leaving. He had to go... It didn't matter where he went, he just had to leave!

Grabbing clothes left and right, he shoved them into a duffel bag along with random assortment of items he would need. It wasn't long before he had it and his emptied bookbag, filled. The banging on his door went silent, but he didn't wait long enough for them to unlock his door. He transformed and left for the sky.

He left to find the truth. Maybe after that, he would be able to forgive them. Maybe.
