Riley's POV
My mom told me that I should be happy about my brother and Allison's marriage. But of course, I wasn't. Just hearing the word "wedding" It makes me... Angry, pissed or something.
I didn't really want to attend their wedding but mom made me. She told me to accept things and how they'll never come back the way as it is and move on.
"The bride's here!" A person from the back shouted. Everyone in the church started going to their seats and taking their phones and cameras out.
I just stayed in the front seat. At the altar, Connor was standing there, being excited for his bride to come.
Connor looked at me and "Riley, don't forget what I told you, when my bride arrives you will st-"
"Yeah, yeah. I know.. I'll start playing her favorite song" I said, as I grab my guitar and went beside Toby, who was busy getting ready with the instruments.
"What was Allison's favorite song again?" Toby asked
My heart broke into pieces, I was afraid of playing that song again. "S-soldier" I said.
"Bro, it's our cue" Toby started strumming his guitar.
And I started singing it.
"You got holes in your jeans

As I finished the song, I looked at her. She was hiding all of her sorrows and sadness beneath her smile. Because that wasn't the smile that Allison makes when she's happy.
That smile is freaking fake.
As the priest was talking, Allison looked at me, not smiling at all.
At some point, I wanted to stop the wedding and runaway with Allison. But that will be wrong. Very wrong.
"You okay?" Sapphire asked, while looking at Allison and Connor at the altar.
"Yeah. I'm okay" Lie.
Allison's POV
I took a step in front of the altar. I faced Connor. I looked at his joyful blue eyes. His black suit, that looks expensive.
I looked at the front, where my mom was sitting. As she looked at me, she also mouthed the word "Smile" placing both of her finger at her cheeks.
And so I did. Doing a ridiculous fake smile.
I looked around, seeing Riley sitting next to Toby and Sapphire. I looked at him for a couple of seconds before turning my look at Connor.
"We are gathered together on this beautiful afternoon to share with Allison and Connor as they exchange vows of their everlasting love" The priest pronounced
Connor looked at me and held my hands, as he states his wedding promises for me.
"I, Connor McDonough, take you Allison Lloyd, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part."
He carefully wiped off the tear from his eyes, and smiled.
When I got to be next, I held the mic tightly, searching for the words I'm going to say, which I've just written in a piece of paper awhile ago.
"Connor, I promise to..." I paused, it wasn't easy saying this in front of a person who I don't really love.
And I've just thought, if I pretend that Connor was Riley, it would be much easier. I stared at Riley for two good seconds and took a deep breath before turning my look at Connor
"Connor, I promise to love and care for you, and I will try in every way to be worthy of your love" I stared at him and he smiled. "I will respect you, encourage you and cherish you, in health and sickness, through sorrow and success, for all the days of my life"
But of course, my vow was for Riley.
