It was getting late and I promised mom that I would be home before dinner. I looked for Mike to ask him if we're going home. But he's no where to find. I walked a little more steps when I finally spotted him. He was flirting with some guy. eeww. Well I should give them some privacy so I went back to the others. They were busy having a bonfire. So I sat beside Brenda. and watched the fire.
"Hey, What time are we going home? my mom's getting worried for me" I asked brenda.
"Uhm... I don't know. Maybe at midnight"
Midnight! Oh c'mon. Suddenly Riley sat beside me.
"So.. you wanna go home?" Riley asked.
"Uhmm. Yes, actually"
"Let me take you home for the second time" Riley smiled at me
"Are you sure?"
"Ofcourse I'm sure. Besides, I'm courting you. Remember?"
"Oh yes"
As I stand up I accidentaly tripped myself and fell, but to my surprise. Riley catched me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his both hands was holding my hips. I stared at him like ten seconds, Then I let my arms go off his neck. It was very Awkward.
Very Awkward.
"So...Let's go" Riley said coldly while assisting me.
I just nodded and we headed where his car was parked. He held my hand and opened the door for me. I sat at the front seat, beside him.
It was already 7 pm and my mom was getting worried. But the trip would be an hour and thirty minutes. This would be a little long trip.
"Are you okay?" Riley asked me
"Yes. I'm okay" I answered
"Can I take you out tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow? Sure"
"Great"
Atlast! We reached my house. Riley helped me get out of the car.
"Thanks for getting me home safe" I gave him a sweet smile
"Your welcome. Uhm.. Before I go can I have a good bye kiss?" While pouting his lips.
"Uhm..." I came towards him and kissed him on the cheeks.
"That's just a thank you kiss" I said.
"How about a kiss on the lips?" He playfully said.
"Sorry. But I would only give my first kiss to the boy I love"
"Okay. I'll wait for that kiss then"
I giggled and greeted him a Good night and waved good bye. He'd just gave me a sweet smile and went off.
I entered our house and saw my mom and two siblings waiting for me.
"Didn't I tell you to come home before dinner?" my mom said
"Yes." I answered
"Well, look at the time. It's already 9 pm. It's really passed dinner time" my mom scolded me
"I'm sorry mom"
"You're grounded for a week and you can't go out with your friends because you didn't obey me."
I bowed my head for being ashamed for myself.
"Go to your room."
I went to my room and locked myself in. I hate being grounded. How can I go out with Riley if I'm grounded?.
