Heartbreaker

Tiredness

I awoke to my mom screaming at me. Wasn't the most pleasant way to wake up. Today I was so tired. When I'm tired it ruins the whole day. Jake and cade had a baseball game after school agian I wasn't for sure if I was going yet or not. It depends on how tired I am but I took money to school anyway. I was wearing sweats and shirt and threw my hair in a bun. I walked into school and jake waved at me. I walked over to him.
"What's wrong taybug?"
"I'm just really tired babe."
I laid my head on his shoulder and for all I know I was about to go to sleep. He shook me a couple of times to try and get me up. It didn't work.. then he kissed me that got my attention.
"Okay I'm up!"
"Good!"
I looked at him then laud my head back down on his shoulder. He laid his head on top of mine and held my hand.
"Hey tay do you know if ilyssa is going to be here or not?"
"Cade I'm not her babysitter your her boyfriend text her and find out."
"Your her bestfriend and sister you should know these things!"
"Your her boyfriend!"
"Okay you two stop arguing! Cade you know you will never win when taylor is tired!"
"Shut up jake she started it!"
"Well I'm ending it!"
I stuck my tongue at him. He pointed at me and jake looked. I put my tongue back in my mouth and grinned. We all laughed. Jake tried to kiss me on the lips agian but I swerved and licked the side of his face! He laughed. Ilyssa walked in looking like a zombie.
"Wow ilyssa I think you're more tired than me!"
Jake looked at cade and ilyssa grabbing me and ran to the bathroom.
"Il what's up?"
"I got drunk last night."
"Aw il..."
"Me and cade umm.."
"You and cade had sex!"
"Yes, it was also unprotected!"
"Sooo are you prego?"
"It don't know how this works?"
She pulled out a pregnancy test. I read the box when two girls come in I hide the box behind me.
"Ilyssa?"
"What...?"
She was throwing up. The two girls left and I brought the box back out. I took a test out handed it to her and read aloud.
"Ilyssa it says you haft to wait 2 weeks before you take the test."
" The box is wrong."
"Ilyssa?"
"Tay..."
"What?"
"I'm pregnant..."
I had no words. What would cade say and jake. Would cade leave her. We're in 8th grade she is so stupid. I know she is my friend but to get pregnant like this. I looked at her as tears went down her cheek.
"Taylor what am I going to do."
"First things first you need to tell cade!"
"Okay I'll go tell cade and you tell jake."
"Deal and umm good luck!"
I gave ilyssa a hug and went on my way. She took cade ad left. Jake looked at me and I kissed him.
"So..."
"What's up tay?"
"Ilyssa is prego."
"With whose baby?"
"Cades..."
"Cade and her had it last night unless they've done it before."
"Ilyssa just told me she was and took a test."
"Me and you are not having kids till we are out of college understand!"
"Deal!"
Ilyssa come over and cade was with her. He looked happy. Soo what happened.
"Ilyssa is having a baby!"
"Aw cade that is great!"
He seemed like he was ready to step up and be a father. He had a smile on his face. I was wondering what she would do since she is pregnant and in school she is just trying to keep it a secret. So it's only me, ilyssa, cade, and jake that know we haft to keep it a secret.
"Hey taylor?"
"What babe?"
"I love you but there is a bug in your hair!"
"OH MY GOD GET IT OUT!"
"Okay okay stay still!"
"GET IT OUT!"
"It's out its out gosh calm down."
"Well you of all people should know I hate bugs on me or anywhere around me."
"I know but I still love you!"
"I love you to."
the bell rang. I gave jake a kiss and I'd see him later. It was time for athletics. I got dressed and put my hair up. They told us about the baseball scrimmage after school today. Me, Valerie, and ilyssa were going. Jake was playing but cade was sitting in the dug out this time. In athletics we played dodge ball and not the one where you throw the balls at each other either. You ran full court then a suicide the 6 side line to side line. I was the slowest one in my group mainly because I jog. I was sweating like a horse they had the heater on and it sucked. Athletics was over and it was time to get dressed. I don't really care what I look like after athletics because I'm all sweaty and don't care. I walked to Jakes locker when a prep stopped me.
"He is mine so back up bitch!"
Apparently cade was standing behind me and heard he went and told jake.
"Listen I don't know who you think you are but me and jake are dating not you and him okay? Okay. By the way I'm not the bitch trying to steal another girls man!"
"Whatever and by the way he's been cheating on you!"
Jake walked up and she kissed him on the lips right in front of me. That pissed me off I looked at jake with my jaw open and ran to class without thinking I shoved my way through everyone crying. The teacher I had next was my coach. He saw me crying and asked what happened I told him everything. He asked who the girl was and I told him who. He said he'd talk to her and ask what had happened but he gave me permission to take jake out of class to talk. I took him out of class and he immediately took me in a huge hug. I couldn't help but cry.
"I'm so so so sorry taylor I swear I didn't know she would do that."
"I know jake it just.... it hurt to watch her do that right in front of me."
"I know babe I'm so sorry."
"It's fine, I still love ya!"
I hugged him for what seemed like forever. I told him bye and walked to my class. Coach nodded his head and I gave a thumbs up. I had the next two hours of class alone. I couldn't wait to see jake agian! The bell rang and I jumped up and put my stuff up and ran to Jakes locker. I couldn't wait to see him. I turned the corner and there was that prep at his locker I stopped and watched for awhile. I saw her lean in but jake shut his locker and put his fist on her stomach softly to push her away. Then I ran around the corner and jumped in his arms. He spun me around and asked why I was. So happy.
"I wanted to see you so bad."
"I like this!"
We laughed he put his arm around me and we walked to the cafeteria. I couldn't fine ilyssa or cade around until Valerie said cade and ilyssa broke up and both are in the bathroom crying their eyes out. I looked at jake and said "go get cade I got il." He gave me a kiss and we went to our friends. I ran in the bathroom screaming for ilyssa then I heard sobs.
"Ilyssa is that you?"
"No its a ghost! Yes it's me!"
"What is wrong what happened?"
"Me and cade broke up."
"Why?"
"His parents didn't believe the baby was his and made us break up."
"You know you and him can still date right!"
"No i didn't how?"
"Just date in secret his parents wouldn't find out and once the baby is born get a dna test done to prove it's his."
"Thanks you so so much tay!"
She gave me a hug and I helped her look better. We walked out of the bathroom and cade come running over. He said to il he loved her no matter what and wanted to stay together. She said ye and they hugged.
"I don't mean to stop yalls moment but where is jake, cade?
"SHIT, I left him in the bathroom with those boys!"
"CADE!"
He took off to the bathroom ilyssa looked over my shoulder then turned me around. I turned around to a group of girls coming over to me. Ilyssa stepped up beside me following the girls were so guys. A prep looked me straight in the eyes and started punching me. At that time ilyssa got into a fight with another girl. The one who punched me I had pinned on the floor and I hit her over and over agian. At that time I felt someone grab my waist and lift me off of her. She got up and hit me in the jaw over over and over it was a guy holding me who I don't know. Ilyssa was on the ground knocked out asleep. All I could think was am I about to die. The girl hit me in the stomach. At that time I heard cade yell for ilyssa and I saw him run towards her. Cade looked at me yelled at jake to come and cade took the guy out how was holding me from hitting the girl. But I felt another guy grab my wrist really hard and pinned me up against the wall. Jake come out about that time and took him out I hit the girl in her jaw as hard as I could and it knocked her out. After that I fell to the floor I was tired. Jake ran over and took me down the hall I'm the gym. I didn't look like I just got out of a fight neither did he. My nose was bloody but I just said I had a bloody nose. We sat down on the bleachers and saw one of the boys who was holding holding me back. I held Jakes hand and laid my head on his shoulder. I didn't eat lunch soon ilyssa and cade come running in I immediately wondered if the baby was okay. She didn't know. The bell rang for 7th hour it was boring as usual and I was tired I doze off 4 or 5 times.
