3rd Person POV

Azur Lane Base, Port

It was a beautiful sunny day. The Sun hung over the base in the middle of the eve-calm Pacific, basking it in its brilliant shine. The rays of sunlight bounced off the smooth metal and polished barrels of the various ships docked in the port.

"Things are pretty exciting around here aren't they, Wales?" the first, a young girl with blond hair, red eyes, and clothing in the colors of the American flag, asked with her hands behind her head.

"I'd describe it as overcrowded, Cleveland." Wales, a tall mature woman with blond hair a red naval uniform replied, glancing at the multiple girls passing by.

"Look around. The eagle Union and Royal Navy are both gathering at this base. It looks like this won't be slowing down any time soon."

"I bet you can't guess who's coming from my side!" Cleveland enthusiastically said, turning around and facing Wales. "Your hint is that it's the greatest warrior of the Eagle Union, who received the most battle stars out of any ship." She raised her hand and pointed her index finger skywards, shaking it while doing so.

"Ah, you must mean the Gray Ghost," Wales acknowledged with a smile before glancing at the multitude of battleships, cruisers, destroyers, and carriers docked in port. "The main body of our Royal Navy will also be arriving soon. It looks like this base will be central to our operations in the near future."

Cleveland nodded. "Well then, we should greet them properly!" Cleveland enthusiastically exclaimed. "We shouldn't keep them waiting!" proceeding to rush ahead of Wales.

Wales could only smile at this gesture as she passed a cloaked figure.

"C'mon! Hurry!"

"Please don't rush me," Wales replied, keeping her slow pace of walking.

The wind blew, casting down the cloaked figure's hood, revealing a young girl with white hair, orange eyes, and metallic horns on her head.
