After we were done with shopping, we head back to my house. I told him to just make himself at home and went to the kitchen to start on prepping for the pavlova.
After I've finished the meringue, I put it in the oven and started on baking it. Since it'll take a while, I head to the living room and sit by Joseph
"How are you feeling now ?" I asked him
"G-good" he answered timidly
"That's great. I hope you're enjoying your time here. I'm sorry that I came to pick you up unannounced. I should've contacted your caretaker earlier. I'm really sorry" I apologized
"There's no need to apologize miss..." he looked at me, asking for my name I presume
"Sophia. Sophia Kim" I responded
"There's no need to apologize miss Sophia. You were just helping out my dad right ? I'm sorry if it's a bother for you" he apologized
"What ?? There's no need to. I was the one who offered it" I smiled at him
"I'll be the one who'll look after you when he has an important meeting so I hope you're alright with it" I added
He was quiet for a bit but he then muttered something. It wasn't that loud but I could hear it
"If it's you then maybe it's alright" he uttered under his breath
"That's a relief dear" I responded
"Y-you heard it ?" he asked, flustered
"I did" I giggled
He was blushing, that was cute of him. Just like his father huh ?
