17 || Single Father

Ever since that day, Sophia and I began to see each other more. I can't express how happy I am and how much I am in love with her. Today's another day off for both of us so I'm thinking of asking her out today.

She said she's up for a coffee date and I was excited to tell her about how I feel. Joseph hearing about me wanting to ask her out, he was happy to hear that. I mean, there are possibilities that he'll be getting a new mom so, why not ?

I waited at the coffee shop, with a bouquet of daisies. She came by shortly after my arrival and seems like she saw the flowers but decided to not ask about it. I mean, it's impossible to not see that. It's a whole bouquet after all

We had our meals and talks. I decided to ask her out when we were done with eating

Time passes by and both of us were done with eating and drinking.

"Hey Sophia" I called out to her

"Yes ?" she responded as she looked up to me

I took out the bouquet of flowers and gave it to her

"I really like you, would you like to go out with me ?" he asked

She stared at me for a brief second

"Eh ?" she responded

Well that's a bit awkward

"Wait wait-- so-- wait-- I--" she was looking all confused and surprised

Is this a fail ?

"I gotta process this for a bit, wait" she turned away from me, seemingly breathing in and out

She then turned back to me

"D-did Joseph allowed me and you to be together ?" she asked

"Well... Yeah. He seems to have taken a liking in you too so... Yeah-- but if you don't feel the same, it's alright" I replied

She lets out a sigh of relief

"If he says it's a yes then, I see no problem of us getting together. Besides, I've liked you for months too so why not" she laughed

"Really ?" my eyes lit up

"Of course ! Who knows, maybe we'd even ended up marrying each other" she laughed and I couldn't help but blush

With that said, our relationship began from that day onwards
