How many months has it been ever since she's worked here ? Why am I so damn attached to her ? Is it because I like her ? We're not even close yet here I am already telling her about what happened in life. Is it weird ? Is it a sign of trust ?
"Sir, do your son stays at a daycare ?" she asked
"Yes yes. Though sometimes I feel bad for leaving him there till late at night. My parents are in L.A so I have no other choice" I replied
"I usually go home right after my shift ends at 5. Would you like me to babysit him whenever you need to stay at the office overnight ?" she asked
"Really ? You can do that ?" I asked
"I don't really have anything to do, so why not. I live nearby yours anyways" she laughed
"Thank you so much ! I really appreciate it !" I thanked her
"You're most welcome sir" she smiled
Yes ! More reason for me to see her !
"You don't have to be so formal with me outside. We're friends aren't we ?" I said to her
"Oh-- I thought we aren't that close to be called a friend" Sooyoung laughed softly
"But I like that you see me that way. What would you want me to call you ?" she asked
"Joshua or Jisoo. Anything's fine" I replied
"Anything it is" she joked
"Sooyoung !" I frowned
"Sorry sorry" she laughed
"Joshua then" she added
"What would you like me to call you ?" I asked her
"Sophia's fine" she replied
"Sophia ??? You also have a second name ???" I asked
"Yep. Sophia Kim is my birth name, but since I'm working there, I prefer to be called Sooyoung" she replied
"I see. American ???" I asked
"No, Canadian. My mom's Canadian and my dad's fully Korean. So I'm a Canadian-Korean" she replied
"Is your son Korean. I mean, you're fully Korean right ?" she asked
"Oh ? Where did you heard that ?" I responded surprised honestly
"Mother talks about you a lot. So I kinda know some basic information about you" she chuckled
Both of us were becoming fond of each other and I feel like I really am into her. Maybe it'll be fine to trust her with Joseph.
